"To every thing there is a season..."

Fall has finally arrived in my neck of the woods!  It takes awhile for the fall season to hit LA...(Lower Alabama), but I think it is finally on it's way.  This time of year always makes me think of one of  my favorite passages from the Bible.  This passage is from Ecclesiastes 3...

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

A time to rend, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

This is the time of year when we need to reflect on our many blessings and the good things in our lives.  I made a few simple fall cards to send to some of the "blessings" in my life and wanted to share a couple of them with you...

The owl card is made with the Give a Hoot cartridge from Cricut.  I used a MS punch for the border and I used the Nestabilities Labels 11 die cut for the sentiment tag.  For the turkey card, I used Celebrate With Flourish and lots of Stickles.  The flower, gems, ribbon and buttons were from my craft stash.

Thanks for looking and remember to take the time to count your blessings this season!
