Turkey Time

I just used this cute little turkey on the card I posted yesterday, but I really like him and think he is great for the 2 challenges I will enter him in this week.  One of the things that is so great about crafting is that you can start with the same basics over and over and get a totally different look each time. By using a patterned paper on the turkey this time, I think he looks much different from the turkey I posted yesterday using solid paper.  Ok...you can tell they are related (maybe cousins), but definitely not twins!

*Challenge #1 - Cricut Circle Blog Challenge Friday:  "Feathered Friends"
This challenge was to include a bird (of course), two cricut cuts and stitching.

*Challenge #2 - Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog - "Bird Bonanza"
This challenge was to include a bird (again...of course) and at least one cricut cut.

My Recipe:

Papers - DCWV - Autumn Splendor (beautiful paper)
Turkey - Celebrate With Flourish cut at 4 1/4 inches
Sentiment Label - Mini Monogram cut at 3 inches, shadow at 3 1/2 inches
Stamp - Hero Arts
Inking - Copic Markers and Ranger Inks
Glitter - Martha Stewart
Zig-Zag stitching with brown thread
Gems - from my stash

As always, thanks for taking the time to check out my latest project.  I appreciate any comments, suggestions or tips you would like to share!
