Sweet Treats Birthday Card

Good Morning to you!  Hope everyone is off to a good start this morning.  Things are going pretty well around here.  I have had a fairly productive morning so far...of course, it's still early in the day!  I have already been to my hair appointment (yea...hair is no longer in my eyes)!  Started cleaning my house...ugh... but then had a better idea...post pictures of the cute little birthday card I made yesterday (when I should have been cleaning my house...sigh).  So, after I get this posted it's off to work on this house a bit, go to the grocery store, put everything away, cook supper, clean it all up again...did I mention that I would rather be in my scrap room?  I'm sure I will find my way upstairs to my "happy place" before this day is over. Until then, here's a little card from Sweet Treats....

Very simple little card...but turned out pretty cute!  The paper is wonderful, it's from a new stack called The Celebration Stack from DCWV.  The cupcake is cut from Sweet Treats at 2 inches and adhered to a label that I cut using Nestabilities.   I added glitter to the frosting and Stickles to the candle and flame.  The ribbon is from my ribbon drawer...you don't want to look in there...it's a scary, scary place!

I used the same paper for the inside of the card and inked up the edges.  The Happy Birthday stamp is one I picked up from Michael's dollar bin (another one of my happy places).  I used my leftover, cute little cupcake paper to line the inside of the envelope and there you go!

Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by.  I hope to have my house clean (sigh) before I see you again!
