Good Monday Morning!
I hope you have had a nice refreshing weekend and are off to a great start this Monday morning!
I would like to begin my day by sharing a card with you. I designed this card for the weekly challenge at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog.
The challenge this week (challenge #45) is Support The Cause.
For this challenge, you will need to create a project in honor of a cause near and dear to you or a loved one's heart (i.e. Breast Cancer Awareness, Autism, MADD, etc.)
My card is in honor of Women's Heart Disease Awareness and National Wear Red Day.
* Paper - K & Company Valentine Stack
*Hearts - Cricut Sweethearts Cartridge, cut at 5 inches and layered
*Lady in Red - Country Life cut at 4 inches
I ran her dress through the Cuttlebug using the Daisy folder by Crafts-Too
I added self-adhesive pearls to the neckline and hem of her dress.
Her eyes are self-adhesive black gems and I used MS glitter on the heart she is holding.
*Sentiment is computer generated and I used a gel pen to add stitching lines and used gems on each end.
I layered the sentiment onto a border made with a MS punch.
Here is a close up of the Lady In Red.
Friday, February 4th is National Wear Red Day.
Heart disease is the #1 killer of women and you can learn more about the campaign to support
Women's Heart Disease Awareness HERE.
Thanks for dropping in for a visit. I hope you will come back soon! Don't forget to leave a comment (you know I love those comments)!
