MCS Challenge - Black & White Plus One Color

Hello everyone and happy Monday to you.
We've got a great new challenge for you today over at My Craft Spot - this week's challenge is:
Black & White Plus One Color...

For my card, I started with the Wavy Card Base cutting file from SVG Cutting Files.  The base is cut from solid back and the layer is this beautiful black and white paisley print from BoBunny.

I used a sweet sentiment from the My Craft Spot stamp set, Feel Better Soon.  My sentiment is stamped onto a pretty doily that I created with the Tiny Doilies Metal Die Set also by MCS.

The adorable Kawaii Tissue Box is from SVG Cutting Files. I pulled this cute little flower from my stash of crafting goodies and found the perfect colored enamel dot to top it off!

And that pretty much wraps it up for me! I hope you will stop by the My Craft Spot Blog to see what the other Designers have created for your inspiration.  You can also find all the details about joining in our weekly challenge at MCS - we would love to see your project linked up with us.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a great day and I'll be seeing you soon...

You're so sweet!

Hello everyone!
I hope you are having a great week. I'm enjoying some time with my Mama who is here for an overdue visit!  Just wanted to pop in for a minute to say hello and share a quick and easy treat I put together for a special little girl.....

My girl loves sour, chewy candy and when I came across these sour watermelon gummies, I knew she would love them.  But, I couldn't just give them to her in the wrapper they came in...really.... what's the fun in that?

So, I used my Dainty Topper Die from Jaded Blossom and the adorable Kawaii Watermelon cutting file from SVG Cutting Files to pretty up these cute little gummies.

It's a bit hard to tell in the photo, but I used an Atyou Spica Glitter pen in Black to add a bit of sparkle to the eyes, mouth and cheeks on the watermelon.

I stamped a sentiment from the JB Kawaii Sentiments  onto a tag cut with the JB Mini Tag Dies set to finish up my sweet treat topper.

Well, that's about it for me today - thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day and I'll be seeing you soon....

Sorry to hear you're in a jam

Hello everyone and welcome to Studio 5380!
I hope this new week is off to a great start for you.  My week is going to be pretty busy, my Mama is coming for a visit...yay! And, we have lots of catching up to do. So, I'll be popping in here and making visits to all of your wonderful blogs as I can.  If you don't see or hear from me for a few days, don't give up on me!

So, today's post is going to be short and sweet as I MUST get this house somewhat cleaned up before my Mama pulls into the driveway.  I've got another cutie from this month's stamp release by The Stamps of Life....

Anybody remember this old paper stack?
While searching for some purple prints, I came across an older stack on the bottom of my paper pile...er....collection!  These are from the "Latte Stack" by DCWV and I think they are just perfect for this card!  I bet I've had this stack for 3 years or more.

Stamps of Life products:

morejb&j2stamp stamp set
pb&jdies (for the grapes)

Okay, I'm off to tackle this house - wish me luck!
Have a wonderful day and I'll be seeing you soon....

Thanks a bunch!

Hello everyone and happy Saturday to you!
I hope you are having a great weekend. It's been cold and wet here today after a rainy, rainy Friday.  I'm not sure my yard will ever dry out!  I had planned on a bit of yard work today, but it's much too wet. So...I stayed inside and played around with my Copic Markers instead - much more fun!

My sweet (and very talented) friend, Ann who owns and operates SVG Cutting Files  also has a digital stamp blog.  Her images are super cute and are available at Digi My World.  I decided to work with one of these cuties today while practicing my Copic skills. And, here's my finished card....

Okay, so I still have lots of room for improvement with my coloring skills.  But, each time I complete a project I find myself more comfortable with my markers (I don't think I'm holding my breath as much...lol).  And I do see a bit of improvement with each new project.

This sweet image is called Flowerbox Girl and I think she is sweet as can be!
I used some pretty papers from Simple Stories and added a bit of machine stitching around the edges.  The sweet sentiment is from the Smell The Flowers stamp set by Jaded Blossom.

My sentiment is stamped onto a banner created with the Mini Tag Dies set also by Jaded Blossom. The pretty Crinkle Ribbon is from My Craft Spot.

Okay, that's it for me today. I need to get up and get busy around this house.  Laundry is waiting and I can't use the weather as an excuse on that chore!  Have a great weekend and I'll be seeing you soon...

You're such a nut!

Hello everyone - thanks so much for stopping by today!
I've got a super fun, super easy, super yummy treat to share with you today....

I came across this cute little candy bar box and wrapper in the Silhouette Online Store awhile back. I purchased the file and there it sat in my Library of cutting files. Then....Stephanie from The Stamps of Life came out with the awesome pb&j2enjoy and morepb&j2stamp stamp sets and right away I remembered that fun little candy bar box!

I love the fun sentiment - I mean, seriously, how cute is that?
I stamped the peanuts all over the outer candy bar wrapper and colored them with my Copic Markers.

The cutting file did not include the little band around the box.  I just cut a strip of cardstock about and 1.5 inch wide and taped the ends loosely so that it would slide easily on and off the box.

And that's it - simple, fast and oh so yummy!
Thanks again for stopping by today - I always appreciate your visits and sweet comments! Have a great day and I'll be seeing you soon...

SVG Cutting Files Challenge

Hello everyone and welcome to Studio 5380.
I can't believe that it is the middle of April already - this month is just flying by!  The 15th of each month brings a new Challenge from SVG Cutting Files and I've got a sweet project to share with you today.  This month's challenge is all about the special ladies in your life - it can be for your Mom, sister, grandmother, etc.  My project is for a sweet young lady who has a birthday in the near future....

I just love this fun Nugget Easel Drawer Box created by Ann!  It is so cute, so easy to put together and the possibilities are endless.  This file is one I will use again and again.

I also used the cutie pie Cupcake Girl to decorate the easel portion of my box - isn't she just the sweetest?  I gave her a Peachy face using the Sweet & Innocent Face Assortment Stamp Set.

My Happy Birthday sentiment is from the So Many Birthdays stamp set by Jaded Blossom.  I stamped it onto that cute little ticket which was created with the Jaded Blossom Ticket Book Die.

The wrappers for my Hershey Nuggets were created with the Jaded Blossom Candy Wrap Dies.

And there you go!
Be sure to stop by the SVG Cutting Files Blog to see what the other Designers have in store for you.  There are some amazing projects and you don't want to miss any of them!  I hope you will play along with this fun challenge - I look forward to seeing what you create.

Have a wonderful day and I'll be seeing you soon...

My Craft Spot Challenge #133

Hello everyone and welcome to Studio 5380.
I hope you had a great weekend and are ready for another Monday!  Those Mondays sure do roll around fast, don't they?  Well, let's get this one off to a creative start with a new challenge from My Craft Spot.  This week's challenge is all about Tags and Banners.....

For this fun card I started with the Simple Label Card Base from SVG Cutting Files. That cute little driver is from the Go Kart Racers set also available from SVG Cutting Files.

I created my fun finish line banner with the Tiny Banners & Toppers Metal Die Set from My Craft Spot.  I love this die set - take a look at all the options available in this one set....

The combinations are just endless - this set is a "must have" in my opinion!

I added a sweet sentiment from the MCS stamp set Tiny Tags 3 to the license plate on the front of the Go Kart.  I love the shine from the metallic paper!

And, of course, I had to decorate the inside as well...

The racing lights are part of the Go Kart Racers cutting file and the sentiment is from the My Craft Spot  Big Sentiments 2 stamp set.

Okay, that's my project for this week's challenge!  I hope you will drop by the My Craft Spot Blog to take a look at what the other Designers have in store for you.  I also look forward to seeing your creations linked up with us this week!

Have a wonderfully creative day and I'll be seeing you soon...

You are a sweetie!

Hello everyone and welcome to Studio 5380.
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.  I spent most of Saturday morning working in my yard. The grass is green and everything is it bloom. It's really beautiful, but sure takes a lot of maintenance!

I spent the afternoon playing with some fun new stamps by The Stamps of Life that will be released next month - they are some kinda cute ♥   I can't share those with you yet, but I do have another sweet card from this month's pb&j2enjoy stamp set.....

The jelly jar is from the jb&j2enjoy stamp set and both of the sentiments are from the morejb&j2stamp add on set.

The sweet strawberry print paper is from the Doodlebug paper pad Fruit Stand.
I used a bit of Natural Jute String from My Craft Spot to tie around the top of my jar.

And, there you go!
I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. Thanks for stopping by and I'll be seeing you soon...

Bride and Groom

Hello everyone and welcome to Studio 5380.
I'm so happy that you stopped by today because I am going to share my first project as a new Design Team Member with SVG Cutting Files!  Before I show you my project, I would just like to say Thank You to Ann for adding me to her fabulous Design Team.  I've very excited to play with Ann's fabulous designs and to work with her awesome team.

So, let's get started.  Today's project is a sweet wedding gift set for a special couple I know....

I used the Present Slider Card cutting file to make a gift card holder. I also used the super adorable  Car Back/Rear Shaped Card cutting file to create a special card for the wedding couple.

The top portion of the slider card pulls out - I used the Gift Card Die from Jaded Blossom so that my gift card fits snugly in place.  The pretty sentiment is from the Simple Sayings 3 stamp set, also from Jaded Blossom.

This cute little convertible was really fun to put together!  I used metallic paper and added lots of glitter to give the car some sparkle and shine!

When I started working out this project in my head, I knew I wanted some little cans to tie up behind the car.  I wasn't sure if I can even find anything that would work - but after a run to Michael's, I found these cute little soda cans in the miniatures section.  They worked out perfectly!

The sentiment on the car tag is from the Jaded Blossom stamp set The Perfect Match and it was the perfect fit for my tag!

And there you - my gift to the happy couple!

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  Have a good one and I'll be seeing you soon...

Put on your Party Hat

Hello everyone and welcome to Studio 5380.
It's my turn to post over on the My Craft Spot Blog and I thought I would share my card with you here as well....

This cute little party hat is from the Make A Wish Cutting Files from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  And, my fun sentiment is from the My Craft Spot stamp set Birthday Wishes.

It was super fast and easy to make these colorful banners using the Ribbons Banner - Straight Die Set.  Then, to really bring on the party feeling to my card, I added a few sequins in these great colors:  Caribbean Blue, Pumpkin, Toadally Green and Tickled Pink.  You can see all the great sequin colors available in the My Craft Spot Shop by clicking here.

And, of course, I had to party up the inside of my card as well...

That pretty much wraps it up for me today.
Thanks so much for stopping by today - enjoy your day and I'll be seeing you soon....

Wishing you a sweet & nutty birthday

Hello everyone and welcome to Studio 5380.
Hope all is well with you!  I'm been having fun working with the new stamps from Stephanie at The Stamps of Life and I have a fun little gift bag to share with you today....

I started out with a sweet gift bag from the Silhouette Online Store.  Next, I used this fun sentiment from the pb&j2enjoy stamp set.  Those cute little peanuts are also from this set - I think they are so much fun!

I think you can see the sparkle in this photo - I used my new Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Marker to add a touch of glitter.  This is the first time I've used these and I'm loving how easy it is to get just a touch of sparkle exactly where you want it.

I didn't have ribbon in the right shade, so I colored up some seam binding with a Copic Marker for just the right shade.

And, that's about it!
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Have a good one and I"ll be seeing you soon....

You are a sweetie!

Happy Monday to you!
I hope you had a nice, restful weekend and are ready for a new week.  Most of my weekend was spent in my Studio working on projects with the April Stamp of the Month set by The Stamps of Life.
This month's stamp set is called pb&j2enjoy and it is just too cute!  Here's a fun tag I made using these adorable stamps...

My tag was cut from a file from the Silhouette Online Store. The patterned papers are from the Fruit Stand paper pad by Doodlebug.

The jelly jar and sentiment are from the pb&j2enjoy stamp set. I colored the jelly jar with Copic Markers. That fun, hot pink button is from the Lotsofbuttons2love package. Stephanie has buttons in so many great colors available at The Stamps of Life. This one is called Guava - how fun is that?

Okay, that's it for me today. I will be back very soon with another fun TSOL project because I just can't help myself -these stamps are too cute!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
