Hello

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are ready to start a new year. Can you believe that is almost 2016?  This year has flown right by just like all the years before and they seem to be picking up speed!  I'm happy to say that, with the help of my hubby, we have de-Christmastized the house and everything is back in place. I spent most of the last 2 days cleaning up and getting things back to "normal".  So, today I rewarded myself with a little inky time in my studio and played along with the current Sketch Challenge over at the MFT Challenge and Inspiration Blog...

I used several products from My Favorite Things to create my card:
* Sweet Safari stamp set
* Arrow Greeting die set
* Leafy Greenery die set
* Homespun Stitch Lines die set
* Green Room cardstock
* Wild Prints paper pack

I added a touch of clear glitter using a Wink of Stella Glitter Marker.

And, of course, I had to dress up the inside of my card as well.

I always love the MFT card sketches and thought I would share the current sketch with you:

That about wraps it up for me today.  I'm off to link up my card and hope to see you soon. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Mugs and Kisses

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Well, we are getting closer and closer to the "big day".  Are you ready? I've got a few more gifts to wrap and I need to busy with some holiday baking. I think I've got things almost ready, but I'm sure I'll think of something I forgot to do!  I haven't been able to find much crafting time these last few days, but I did manage to put together this fun little gift card/treat holder....

The box is created with a Lori Whitlock cutting file I purchased from the Silhouette Online Store.  I love the way the gift card slips into the holder and the Hershey Kisses all in a row look so pretty!

The coffee mug was created with the Hot Cocoa Cups die set from My Favorite Things.  And, how perfect is that sentiment for a Starbucks gift card and Hershey Kisses?! The sentiment is from the My Favorite Things stamp set, Hug in a Mug.

The snowflakes were created with the Mini Snowflakes die set by Lawn Fawn.

Thanks again for stopping by today.  Just in case I don't see you again before the holidays,

♥♥♥ Merry Christmas ♥♥♥

Sending Holiday Hugs

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.

Well, here we are...one week until Christmas Day!
As always, I find myself wondering how the heck did that happen and where did the time go? But, ready or not, it's almost here!  Today I am sharing what I think will be my last Christmas card for this year. It makes me a little sad because all of my favorite stamping companies have created the most adorable Christmas stamps this year and I haven't had a chance to play with them all just yet!

Here's a list of cardstock and dies used for this card:
* Silver Sparkle cardstock from My Favorite Things
* Scalloped Rectangle Stackables from Lawn Fawn
* Stitched Rectangles from Lawn Fawn
* Mini Snowflakes from Lawn Fawn

 I used the following stamp sets:
* Jingle Greetings by Mama Elephant
* Reindeer Games by Mama Elephant
* Christmas Spirit by Mama Elephant

All images are colored with Copic Markers and I added Clear Glitter from Wink of Stella here and there for a bit more sparkle.
Okay, back to gift wrapping for me!
Have a wonderful weekend and just in case I don't see you again before the big day...

Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Christmas Cheer

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.

I hope you are doing well and checking off those "to-do" items on your Christmas list. I was trying to mark Address Christmas Cards off of my list today and came up short on cards.  Not a good thing on December 14th! So...back to the stamps and Copics I went! Guess that dusting and vacuuming will just have to wait a bit longer (don't you just hate when that happens...lol).

While addressing my Christmas cards, I also noticed that I had not made even one shaker card this year. I mean, seriously, how did a shaker card not happen?  So, I pulled out some brand new stamps and my sequins and got right to it....

I went with some fun non-traditional colors on this one.
I created my mat with Ranger Distress Ink in Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet.  The mat for my sentiment is inked up with Twisted Citron Distress Ink.

This cute trio and the fun sentiment are from the Spreading Christmas Cheer stamp set created by
Your Next Stamp.

This one was really fun to work on and I hope it brings a little cheer to someone special!
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by for a visit. I know how busy this time of year is for everyone and I appreciate your visits and kind comments ♥

It's Time To Jingle!

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.

With less than 12 days and 12 hours (at the time of this writing) it really is Time To Jingle!
The hours are ticking away much to quickly for me and there's still lots to finish up on my to-do list. I did finish up a few vinyl monogrammed projects yesterday. But, I can't share those for obvious reasons!  I can, however, share these sweet little tags that I made for some special gifts....
Aren't those little elves and reindeer just adorable?

I used the following products to create these cuties:
* My Favorite Things - Tag Builder Blueprints 4
* Mama Elephant - Jingle Greetings
* Mama Elephant - Christmas Spirit
* Mama Elephant - Reindeer Games

All images are colored with Copic Markers and I added a bit of Wink of Stella Glitter Marker in Clear for some sparkle. (gotta have that sparkle)
And, here's how I put my tags to use...

I filled these plastic "test tubes" with pretty Hershey Kisses and tied the tag around the tube with the white tulle. Perfect little treats for some special people in my life!

Okay, that clock is still ticking so back to it!
Thanks again for stopping by. Have a wonderful day and I'll see you soon....

Joy

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.

Thanks for stopping by for a visit!
I'm trying to finish up a few more Christmas gifts and wanted to share my latest bundle of sweet smelling goodies from Bath and Body Works....

It's so hard to get a decent photo after wrapping everything up in cellophane. I always seem to catch a glare no matter how many photos I take...sigh. Anyway, I just love the sweet Polar Bear on the front of this hand soap and tried to replicate him as close as possible on my gift tag.

I used several My Favorite Things products for my tag:
* Tag Builder Blueprints 4
* Birthday Bears stamp set
*Gift Tag Greetings stamp set
*Rolling Hills die set

His scarf is made with a piece of seam binding that I colored with a Copic Marker to match the raspberry pink of my tag.

Thanks again for stopping by today.
Have a wonderful day and I'll see you soon...

Christmas Treats

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.

How's the Christmas shopping/decorating/baking going?
I'm happy to say that my decorating has been completed for several days (only because our house is on the market and I had to get it finished). The shopping is about two-thirds of the way finished and I'm trying to wrap as I go, so I'm feeling pretty good about that. I haven't baked the first thing, nor have I even started a list of things to bake much less gone grocery shopping.

All in all, I guess that's not too bad for December 7th. Still lots to do, but I guess it's doable!
So, today's post is short and sweet.  I just wanted to share the last 2 Christmas Treats for my grands - these are for Emma and Brayden. You can see Blake and Hannah's here...

The tags were made with the Stitched Circle Tags die set by Lawn Fawn. The snowman and Santa images are from My Favorite Things.

Okay, back to gift wrapping and maybe even a grocery list (but probably not)!
Thanks for stopping by - see you soon....

Over The Moon Baby Blog Hop

We are so glad you have joined us for the

Over The Moon Baby Blog Hop!

You will be inspired by all the Baby Projects & Gift Ideas on this hop. These ladies are amazing. Our friend, Jen, is expecting a little one soon, and we thought it would be fun to have a little hop in her honor. Put on some Christmas Music, sit down by the fire with your laptop, grab a candy cane to snack on, and enjoy the hop. There are 7 stops along the way (including me). You are not going to want to miss any of them!

Jen did not know the sex of the baby as we were gearing up for the hop and wanted to incorporate the color gray into the baby's room.  So, here's what I came up with....

I started with a 6X6 canvas and painted it a soft ivory.
Next, I created mats with these pretty patterned papers from October Afternoon layered onto gray cardstock.  I left a blank mat so that Jen can add a photo of her sweet new bundle of love.

The elephant is from the Silhouette Online Store.  I colored a bit of seam binding with a Copic Marker to match the yellow in my patterned papers.  I added a bow of embroidery floss to his tail for a sweet finishing touch!

And, there you go...onto the next stop, the very talented Michelle.

Here is the complete blog hop lineup. Enjoy!
Janis

Thanks for hopping with us today!

A Very Merry Christmas

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.

It's Friday and time for another challenge at PDE Linky Party.  As always, today's challenge is Anything Goes and we would love to have you link up your project with us.  Here's my project for this week's challenge....

I purchased some yummy smelling goodies from Bath & Body Works for a Christmas gift and, of course, I wanted to dress it up a little bit.

To create a bag topper, I cut and folded a rectangle of gold cardstock to fit the top of my cellophane bag. Next I cut a white mat to decorate with all these adorable images from My Favorite Things.

My Favorite Things products used:
* Snowfall Stencil
* Winter Wonderland Stamp Set
* Toasty Greetings Stamp Set

All of my images were colored with Copic Markers and I was very generous with both Wink of Stella Clear Glitter and Diamond Stickles. (I love the sparkle)

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today. I really appreciate your visits and sweet comments.  I hope to see your latest project linked up with us over at PDE Linky Party!

Happy Birthday

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.

Today is a special day around my house, it's my sweet hubby's birthday!
He's not one for sentimental mushy cards so I made him one a bit more on the sassy side...

Pretty sassy don't ya think?
My background was created with Distress Ink in Twisted Citron.  The washing machine is from the Squeaky Clean stamp set by Paper Smooches and was colored with Copic Markers. The heart got a nice covering of Clear Wink of Stella Glitter...gotta love that sparkle!

My sentiment took a bit of engineering to put together!
  I knew what I wanted, but didn't have a stamp that would work with me! So, the "Happy Birthday" portion of the sentiment is from the So Many Birthdays stamp set by Jaded Blossom and the "to my" portion is from their Foxy stamp set. And, yes...I did have to cut a stamp apart (gasp) to get just those two words!

The "love machine" portion of my sentiment came in the set along with the washing machine.  I'm not sure I could have pulled this off without my Misti!

Anyway, all that to say Happy Birthday to my sweet husband - I love you bunches!

Have a wonderful day everyone and I'll see you soon....
