Witch Way Is The Candy?

Hi there and Happy Halloween to you!
I'm so glad you stopped by because I have a sweet Halloween treat to share with you today....

I started with a simple "Candy Bar Pouch" svg file I found at the Silhouette Online Store.  After cutting and putting the pouch together, I got busy coloring these adorable images from the stamp set, Witch Way Is The Candy?, by My Favorite Things.

Images were colored with Copic Markers and then glittered up with a Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Marker.  I love the sparkle!

I used the star die from Blueprints 13 die set to create my sparkly stars. This was my first time to use the Silver Sparkle cardstock from My Favorite Things, and I have to say...it won't be my last!  This beautiful, sparkly cardstock cut like a dream and the glitter stays in place...no flaking!  I fell in love with this stuff and will ordering more very soon!

Okay, that's it for me today.
Wishing you all you a fun, safe, Happy Halloween!

This is the day....

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
I hope your week is off to a good start. It's been rainy here and I'm hoping this rainy stuff will usher in cooler, more fall-like temperatures. But, I don't have my hopes up just yet. I think we may have a few more days {weeks} of short sleeves and flip-flops.

The weather may not feel like autumn, but my craft room is definitely beginning to show signs of fall. I always love working with the rich, beautiful colors used in fall projects.  The card I'm about to share incorporates some of those lovely colors....

This beautiful flower is from the Botanical Love stamp set by Create A Smile Stamps. I love the size of this image (3 by 3 inches).  The larger size is so easy to color and fussy cut, and it fills up the front of a card nicely. All you need is the perfect sentiment and you're good to go.

I colored the flower and leaves with Copic Markers then added some sparkle with a clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Marker.  I also added some brownish pearls to the center of my flower.

The scripture stamp is from The Stamps of Life and seemed perfect for this card.  As a finishing touch, I added a bit of dark green twine to the top of my card and tied it off into a bow.

That pretty wraps up today's card. I guess I'll go get busy with a couple more fall projects then it's time to get serious with the Christmas goodies!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day and I'll see you soon....

Holiday Cheer To You

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
Happy Saturday to you!

Just an FYI...did you know that there are only 68 more days until Christmas?
I have not even started a Christmas shopping list yet, much less actual Christmas shopping!
Is it time to panic yet?

Oh well, I did start on Christmas gift tags. That counts for something...right?

These cuties were created with several product from My Favorite Things:
* Tag Builder Blueprints 4
* Santa's Elves stamp set
* Winter Wonderland stamp set

As usual, I can never seem to capture the sparkle from the Wink Of Stella Glitter Markers. So, you will just have to trust me when I say these are super sparkly!

I love this sweet little elf ♥

And, there you go...3 tags to mark off my Christmas "to-do" list.
Only a gazillion more items to complete...in...68...days....sigh.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I'll see you soon (with another update on how few days we have left to get in super busy, full-blown, total chaos Christmas Mode).....

Wishing You A FAB*BOO*LOUS Night

Hello!
Welcome to Studio 5380, and thanks for stopping by.

It's Monday...again....{insert sigh here} and I'm tearing my house apart trying to get everything clean and organized before my week gets so busy.  I love a clean house, but not so much the process involved in achieving that clean house :(   So, to motivate myself, I treat myself - one hour of cleaning equals one hour of crafty time. You know, kinda like when dealing with a toddler? Pick up your toys, get a cookie...that kinda thing.  Works for me!  And since I'm writing this post on my one crafty hour before tackling the toilets (ugh)...let's get started....

I worked on this card for a couple of days, inking up different parts and letting things dry.  I created a huge inky mess, but I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.

I  used the following products from My Favorite Things:
* Spooky House Die Set
* Frightful Fence Die Set
* Stitched Basic Edges Die Set
* Spooky Sentiments Stamp Set

Here's a photo of the inside of my card.

I really meant to write down all the Distress Inks I used on this card, but believe it or not, I actually cleaned up and put them away before getting my blog post up.  There were a lot of inks involved in this one...messy, messy, messy.

As always, I appreciate your visit.  But, the clock is ticking and my crafty time is almost over so I better get moving. Have a wonderful day and I'll be seeing you soon....

Frightfully Sweet

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
 Thanks for popping in for a visit!

I've got a bright, colorful, fun Halloween card to share with you today. And, while it's really not "frightful", it is pretty sweet.....

I absolutely adore the sweet Clowning Around stamp set from My Favorite Things. While cleaning up my desk a couple of days ago, I found a couple of extra images I had stamped from this set and thought she would look pretty cute all dressed up for Halloween.

I used the following products for this card:
* Clowning Around stamp set by MFT
* Spooky Sentiments stamps set by MFT
* Cross Stitch Rectangles die set by MFT
* Blueprints 21 die set by MFT
* Ghouls & Goodies paper pad by Doodlebug
* Enamel Dots by Doodlebug

My clown is colored up with Copic Markers and I added black polka dots to her pants with a black gel pen. The sentiment is stamped in clear ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I followed the sketch for this week's challenge, Sketch 249, on the MFT Challenge and Inspiration Blog.  Here's a photo of this week's sketch in case you would like to play along....

Okay, it's time for me to call it a night.
Thanks again for stopping by...

Halloween Treats!

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
Happy Monday to you!

I have some fun Halloween treats to share with you today.  The tags were made during Days 3 and 4 of The 30 Day Coloring Challenge and I spent a little time this afternoon putting everything together. I'm thinking my grands will be pretty happy with my efforts....

I used lots of Lawn Fawn products to complete my tags:
* Stitched Circle Tags
* Grassy Borders Die
* Spooktacular Stamp Set
* Booyah Stamp Set

After die cutting my gift tags, I inked up the backgrounds with Distress Ink in:
* Dusty Concord
* Mermaid Lagoon
 After the ink dried, I gave the tags a spritz with Dylusions Ink Spray in White Linen.

Next, I inked up a strip of white card stock with the following Distress Inks:
* Mowed Lawn
*Peeled Paint
Once the ink was dry, I cut out my grass using the Grassy Borders Die.

And, here's a photo of the finished project.....

One for each grand!

That about wraps up today's post.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  See you soon.....

I Love You A Bushel And A Peck

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
It's finally Friday and I am so happy to spending some time in my studio playing along with the
30 Day Coloring Challenge created by the fabulous Kathy Racoosin of The Daily Marker.  If you are not familiar with this fun challenge, or would like a little more info, you can find all the details on Kathy's blog by clicking here.

I started coloring the images for today's card on Day 1 of the challenge, which was yesterday. Today (Day 2) I finished up my coloring and assembled my card. The images are from the super sweet stamp set, Harvest Mouse, by My Favorite Things.

I absolutely love this sentiment...it reminds me so much of my Grandmother.  She would always tell me, "I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck".  Sweet memories ♥

The fun patterned papers and Enamel Dots are from Doodlebug.
I also used the following dies from My Favorite Things:
* Blueprints 21
*Rolling Hills

And, of course, I had to pretty up the inside of my card!

 That pretty wraps up today's card.  I'm off to link up my card at the
Then, it's time to stamp a few images so that I can play along with Day 3 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge.  Thanks so much for stopping by today. I'll leave you with a photo of the sketch used for this challenge in case you would like to play along.  Have a great weekend and I'll see you soon.
