Make A Wish

Hi there!
Welcome to Studio 5380 - thanks for stopping in.

I have a sweet card to share with you today. This one was created for Lawnscaping Challenge #128, which is a sketch challenge. I pulled out an old set that I've always loved, but have never used and I love the soft, fairy tale look I ended up with...

The images are from the Lawn Fawn "Critters Ever After" stamp set. Images are colored with Copic Markers and have a bit of clear Wink of Stella Glitter for some sparkle.

I created the pink and white mats using the Lawn Fawn "Scalloped Rectangle Stackables" die set along with the "Stitched Rectangles" die set.

Here's the inside of my card.

For the final touch, I added a few shiny, gold star shaped sequins.

Now, I'm off to link up my card at the Lawnscaping Challenge Blog:

Have a great day and I'll see you soon!

Hello - You're In My Prayers

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
Thanks for dropping in for a visit!

I've got a fun, colorful shaker card to share with you today...

I started by stamping these adorable flowers and leave from the MFT Stamps "Buildable Bouquet" stamp set onto some white cardstock.  I wasn't sure where I was going after that, but after coloring a few of the flowers in bright colors, I knew this would be the perfect background for a shaker card.

The scalloped frame and hello sentiment are also from MFT Stamps.

I finished the inside of my card with another flower and the this beautiful sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp "Prayers" stamp set.

There's a lot of sparkle going on with this card and it's tough to catch it all in a photograph without getting a glare. The sequins are very sparkly in the right light and the hello die cut is covered in clear Wink of Stella glitter which adds to the sparkle.  This is a sweet, happy, sparkly card that I  am hoping will help lift the spirits of a friend going through a difficult time.

As always, thank you so much for stopping by.  Have a great day and I'll be seeing you soon!

Thinking of You

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.

While strolling through my Instagram feed a few days ago, I came across the current challenge at The Color Throwdown.  The bright orange and pink combo really caught my eye so I thought I would play along.  I pulled out my Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry and Spiced Marmalade and along with a few other crafty treasures and this is what I came up with...

Products used:
* My Favorite Things - Blueprints 27
* My Favorite Things - Bold Paisley Stencil
* My Favorite Things - Spring Tulips Stamp Set
* My Favorite Things - Upsy-Daisy Die Set
* Lawn Fawn - Stitched Rectangles Die Set
* The Stamps of Life - Felt
* Simon Says Stamp - Sparkling Clear Sequins
* Ranger - White Embossing Powder

After stamping my sentiment onto black cardstock, I heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

And, of course, I had to add a little punch of color to the inside of my card as well.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I always look forward to your visits and kind comments!  I'm off to link up my card at the Color Throwdown Challenge #389.  If I don't see you before the weekend, I hope you have a great one!

You're One In A Buzz-illion

Hi there!
Welcome to Studio 5380, I'm so happy that you dropped by for a visit.  It's Wednesday and time for another great sketch from Janis over at Paper Play Sketches.  Let me show you how I put the sketch to work on this fun, happy card...

The patterned papers on my card are from an old October Afternoon stack that I've been hording for years.  I really love the vintage look of their prints and use them sparingly!

The images and sentiment are from the sweet "Fly-By Friends" stamp set by My Favorite Things. The images are colored with Copic Markers.  I used my Copic Air Brush machine to color the sky and grass. I haven't used my machine in such a long time - I forgot how fun it is to air brush!

I added a touch of the plaid print and another bumble bee to the inside of my card.

And, as I was getting ready to clean up my card-making mess, I decided to make a little gift tag to go along with the card.  I used the Stitched Circle Tags Die Set from Lawn Fawn to create the tag.

Okay, that about wraps things up for me.
Be sure to stop by the Paper Play Sketches Blog to check out the sketch and see what the other lovely Designers have created for your inspiration.  I hope you see your card linked up with us soon!

Skating By To Say Happy Birthday

Hello and happy Friday to you!
Thanks for stopping in for a visit.

I have a fun birthday card to share with you today.  The images are from the "Skating By" stamp set by Avery Elle and are so, so cute....

As always, the hair gave me some grief.  But, I decided to just stop stressing over it and (as my granddaughter, Hannah would say) let it go!

I created a brick sidewalk with the "Brick Wall" stencil from My Favorite Things, a gray Copic Marker and Hero Arts Ink in gray.  I used Salty Ocean Distress Ink for my sky and added a bit of grass with Copic Markers.

Here's a peek at the inside of my card.

I paper pieced the balloons and colored the images with Copic Markers.  Her dress is covered in Wink of Stella Clear Glitter, but as usual, I was unable to capture the shimmer.

I guess that about wraps up this fun card.  Thanks again for stopping by. I'm off to visit your blogs and see what you ladies have been up to. Have a great weekend and I'll see you soon!

Welcome Baby Boy & Baby Girl

Hi there!
Welcome to Studio 5380, I'm so happy that you dropped by.

Don't you just love making baby cards? I mean, seriously, there are so many precious stamps available for making the sweetest baby cards.  Right now, one of my favorite sets is "Little Bundle" by Lawn Fawn and it was the perfect set for this card...

I needed a card for a soon-to-be new Mama of twins...a boy and a girl!

I used the following Lawn Fawn products to create my card:
* Stitched Rectangle Dies
*Grassy Borders Die
*Spring Showers Die Set
* Little Bundle Stamp Set
*Let's Play Stamp Set
*Cozy Christmas Stamp Set (for that tiny little & symbol between baby boy & baby girl)

I watercolored the background of my card with Distress Inks in Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn.  All images are colored with Copic Markers.

And, here's the inside of my card.
How cute are those baby booties?

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you have a wonderful day - see you soon!

Hello Friend

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
I hope your Monday is off to a great start.  Mine started with a few errands, but now it's break time! So, I though I would pop in and share my latest card with you. This one was so much fun to create - it took a while with all the inking and coloring, but I think it was worth it because it is one of "those cards" that just makes me happy...

I used lots of adorable Lawn Fawn products for this one:
* Stitched Rectangle Dies
* Picket Fence Border Die
* Grassy Borders Die
*Fairy Friends Stamp Set
*Feathered Friends Stamp Set
Gnome Sweet Gnome Stamp Set

My background is inked up in Distress Inks in a combination of Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean for the sky and Mowed Lawn for the grass.

I used a few more images to finish up the inside of my card.

I always have difficulty capturing the sparkle of Wink of Stella Glitter, but you can see a hint of it on the mushroom house.  I also added a few tiny gold star shaped sequins for a bit of "fairy dust".

I'm going to be linking up my card in a couple of challenges today:

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: April Showers Bring May Flowers
Lawnscaping Challenge #127: Beautiful Florals

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day and I hope to see you again very soon!

Welcome to the world, sweet baby

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.

Are you doing the Friday Happy Dance yet?  I'm happy that it's Friday, but I have a very long to-do list for this weekend so I'm not really in the dancing mood just yet.  Hopefully my list won't take up my entire weekend and I can do a little dance by Sunday afternoon!

Anyway, I do have a sweet card to share with you before I hit that list.  This darling little image is from the Neat and Tangled stamp set, Itty Bitty Welcoming Committee....

I just love the sweet faces on these little critters!

The images are colored with Copic Markers and the background is watercolored with Distress Inks.

I used another sweet sentiment from the stamp set for the inside of my card.

The plaid background paper is from My Favorite Stamps.
To finish things up, I added a few random sequins.

I guess that's about it for me. It's time to pick something off that stinkin' list of mine and get busy! Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you soon!

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.

It's Wednesday and time for another Sketch Challenge over at Paper Play Sketches.  Janis has created another wonderful sketch for everyone to play along with.  I went with bright, cheerful colors and pretty butterflies for my card....

These lovely butterflies are from the "Butterfly Dreams" stamp set by Reverse Confetti.

Here's a quick peek at the inside of my card.

What's Moo?

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
Thanks for stopping by today!

I've got a fun card to share with you today...

This one was so much fun to work on!  I haven't distressed the edges of cardstock in a very long time and forgot how much I love the unique, rustic look it gives.

I also love the blue gingham paper from October Afternoon, it's the perfect backdrop for these adorable images from the "Farm-tastic" stamp set by My Favorite Things. And, how cute is that fence created with the "Farm Fence" die by MFT?!

My images are colored with Copic Markers and the background mat is inked up with Distress Inks in Faded Jeans and Mowed Lawn.

A few enamel dots and a bit of twine are the only embellishments this card needed.

I'm linking up my card with a couple of challenges:

Thanks again for stopping by today.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend and I'll see you soon!
