Fall Is Here

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380!
Wow..it's been over a month since my last post!  I have been so busy lately and have really missed spending time in my studio and visits with my bloggy friends.  I spent a few hours in my studio yesterday and had such a fun, relaxing time.  I really have to work on tweaking my schedule so that I can get back in here more often.  So, let me show you what I made....

Isn't she cute?
This little girl is from the "Pumpkin Spice It Up" stamp set by The Greeting Farm.

I used the "Stitched Mod Rectangles" die set by My Favorite Things to cut out my background.  This is such a fun die set, I think I'll be using this one pretty often.

While I've got you here, I wanted to share with you that last month I was able to cross something off my bucket list.....

This was an amazing, awesome, exhausting experience!  Jennifer Dove and her crew are beyond talented and so kind and encouraging.  I can't say enough wonderful things about them.

I have been playing catch up since getting home from my week in Arizona!  I hope to find the time to sit down and go back through the workbook from Boot Camp and put the things I learned into action.  Today's card was the first thing I've colored since Boot Camp and I am terribly out of practice. If you ever get a chance to attend one of Jennifer's classes, I highly recommend it, she is not only out-of-this-world talented, but so much fun and oh, so entertaining!

I also never got around to sharing the cute little Halloween treats I managed to squeeze in last month.  Better late than never I guess....

These were made with lots of Lawn Fawn goodies and were really fun to put together.

Okay, I guess this about brings me up to speed!  I hope to be back more often and look forward to doing some bloggy visits.  Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you soon!

Happy Halloween

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
I can't believe how long it has been since my last post!  Life and work and more life have just made it difficult to do much creating in the last few weeks. I would like to say that I see the light at the end of the tunnel, but I'm really afraid it's just the train!  I'm trying to go with the flow and enjoy the time here and there that I can find to create. I'm much too blessed to be stressed ♥

So, this is a card I made several weeks ago. I shared it on my Instagram page (because it's so easy and so...instant).  But, I just haven't found the time to do a blog post...until today!  So here goes...

I used some super cute Lawn Fawn goodies for this card:
* How You Bean? stamp set and dies
* How You Bean? Candy Corn Add-on stamp set and dies

I love the way this fun shaker card turned out. The purple just pops and those candy corn pieces are pretty yummy looking!

And, here's the inside.  How fun is that sentiment?

Ok, that's it for me today. Time for more work and life and work.
Have a wonderful day, take care of yourself and I hope to see you soon!

Hope Your Halloween is Frightfully Sweet

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.

It's been awhile since my last blog post - life got in the way of my crafty time...again!  But, I'm back again with a fun Halloween card to share with you today. I can't believe that September is almost over and it's time for all things Halloweenie!

This card was so much fun to color and put together.
These cute images are from the "Fab-Boo-Lous" Friends" stamp set by My Favorite Things.

My purple background was created with Distress Ink in Wilted Violet.  And, I used the My Favorite Things, Blueprints 27 dies to create the elements for my background.  The sentiment is from the "Spooky Sentiment" stamp set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Halloween Shadow Box Card

Hi there!
Welcome to Studio 5380 - thanks for dropping by.

August the 5th and so far, I'm still hanging in there with the 30 Day Coloring Challenge.  Tomorrow is a busy day and may very well be the day I miss but I'm hoping to find a little coloring time.  So, today I thought I would share a project that I created on Days 2 and 3 of the Challenge:

This was so much fun to put together!

I lots of Lawn Fawn goodies for this fun box card including:

*Shadow Box Card Die Set
*Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up Die Set (banner)
*Costume Party Die Set

All of my images are colored with Copic Markers and I gave them  a bit of sparkle with a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker.  I also used Nuvo Crystal Drops on the moon and stars.

This cute little box folds up flat to fit into an envelope for mailing!

Okay, I'll stop with the photos now! This was really fun and I can't stop thinking about all the scenes I want to create next!

Thanks again for stopping in for a visit, I really appreciate it!
See you soon.

Thanks

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
It's been awhile since my last post. Life continues to get in the way of my crafty time!  But, today is the first day of a new 30 Day Coloring Challenge and I was really motivated to get moving and get upstairs to my studio this afternoon. I try to play along with each new challenge and it's great for motivation and inspiration!  If you're not familiar with the 30 Day Coloring Challenge, you need to stop by Kathy's Instagram account and check it out!  You can find her HERE.

I was so ready to get crafty and play along with Kathy's challenge that I also thought I would play along with the current Sketch Challenge at My Favorite Things....

I am so ready for fall and needed some autumn colors in my life!

These sweet images are from the Fall Friends stamp set by MFT Stamps.  Images are colored with Copic Markers and the backgrounds are inked up with Distress Inks and Distress Oxides.

The "Thanks" die is also from MFT Stamps.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I always appreciate your visits and sweet comments!  I"m off to link up my card and decide what I would like to color for Day 2 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Boss Babe

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
It's Tuesday and my turn to post on the Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog.  I'm a little sad because this is my last official post as part of the Design Team.  I can't believe how quickly my term flew by!  For my last post I had to make a card for our fearless leader, Vanessa, to let her know how wonderful it has been to work with her....

I used lots of products from My Favorite Things on this colorful card.

My images are all colored with Copic Markers and I added some Clear Wink of Stella for a bit of sparkle.  I also added a few sequins here and there.

If you would like more details on my card, you can see all the info over at Butterfly Reflections Ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

But first......

Hi there!
Welcome to Studio 5380, thanks for stopping by.

I've got something a little different to share with you today.  I love creating home decor but just never seem to have the time to actually sit down and make something for my house.  Well...the other day I pulled out this cute little easel style chalkboard that I probably purchased over a year ago and thought...today is the day!  I combined 2 of my favorite things for this project...coffee and crafting:

I really love the way this turned out!

I don't remember where I purchased the chalkboard frame, but I'm pretty sure it either came from Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

The quote is from the Silhouette Online Store.  I used some sparkly Glitter Vinyl from Vinyl Expressions.  This probably took about 30 minutes from start to finish and makes me wonder why I don't do this more often!  I'm going to be looking around my house to see what I can vinyl next!

Thanks again for stopping in for a visit.
I hope you have a great day and I'll see you soon.

Have A Wild Birthday

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
It's Tuesday again and my turn to post on the Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog. For today's project I created a fun box card using loads of adorable Lawn Fawn critters...

I've had this cute Box Card Die for a couple of months and just haven't had a chance to play with it.  This was so much and soooo simple to put together!

And, of course, coloring all these Lawn Fawn critters was fun!
Don't ya just love the little pom-poms I added to their birthday hats?

Sorry for the picture overload!

Okay, I'll stop now!
If you would like a list of products I used to put this together, please stop by the Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog and see my post.

Thanks so much for stopping in for a visit.
