Have A Smooth Birthday!

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380!
Thank you so much for stopping by.

Okay, if you visit my blog very often you know that I have a huge Lawn Fawn fan. They have the sweetest images and so many fun dies.  If you are a fan, you need to stop by their new Lawn Fawnatics Blog.  It's a new challenge blog with challenges twice a month and a chance to win a $25.00 gift certificate. How great is that?

Anyway, I just had to play along with their first challenge, "Happy Birthday"....

I created my background by stamping several images from the "So Smooth" stamp set and coloring them with my Copic Markers.  Using a circle die, I created a window in my card base so that I could make a fun shaker card.

I filled the shaker window with clear sequins and placed some colorful plaid paper behind the window.

It's hard to see in the photos, but the blender and glass both have so much sparkle. I used my Crystal Clear Spectrum Noir to add the shimmer.

I'm off to link up my card at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge Blog.
Thanks again for stopping in for a visit...see you soon!

Have Courage and be Kind

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
Thank you for dropping in for a visit.

I have a sweet card to share with you today that I created as part of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge I am playing along with...

I started with a pre-printed watercolor panel created by Suzy Plantamura (available at Simon Says Stamp).  The flowers and words are colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.

The background is painted with Distress Inks  It's hard to tell in the photo, but I also added some Clear Wink of Stella to the flowers for a bit of sparkle.

I used a white gel pen to to fill in the small circles around the flowers. A few clear sequins are the only embellishment I felt this card needed.  I layered my finished panel onto some pretty pink gingham paper and called it done!

Thanks again for stopping by today - I always look forward to your visits and kind comments!  Have a great weekend and I hope to see you soon.

Happy Camper

Hi there and happy weekend to you!
Thanks so much for stopping by Studio 5380 today.

I've been trying to play along with the 30 Day Coloring Challenge, but this past week has really been a challenge..in more ways than one :(   I wasn't able to play along every day the way I would have liked, but I did get in enough time to color up some sweet images for this fun card:

I think this camper from the Avery Elle stamp set, "Glamper Camper" is just adorable!
I colored all the images with my Copic Markers and added some shimmer with a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

And, how perfect is that flamingo background paper?!?  It's from the "Fandango" paper stack by Craft Smith.

I inked up the background for my camper with some Distress Inks and made a banner for my card with the Banner Die from Reverse Confetti.

Well, that pretty much wraps it up for me today. I'm hoping to find a little spare time this weekend to get back to the 30 Day Coloring Challenge.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend - see you soon!

enjoy the ride

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! My posts have been very sporadic lately and I'm very thankful that you guys still stop by to check on me and see what I've been up to.

I really needed some motivation and some inspiration to get me moving towards my Studio and the fabulous Kathy Racoosin of The Daily Marker  provided just that with her current 30 Day Coloring Challenge.  If you aren't familiar with Kathy and her challenge, be sure to stop by her blog and check out all the details.  It's so much fun to play along and the inspiration is endless.

Today I'm going to share a card I made with my Day 1 and Day 2 coloring efforts:

I used all sorts of adorable Lawn Fawn products for this fun card:

*Perfectly Plaid Rainbow paper pack
*Bicycle Built for You stamp set
*Let's Play stamp set
*Grassy Borders die set
*Road Border die set

All of my images are colored with Copic Markers and most got a hit of glitter from my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker.

This card was so much fun to make. Lawn Fawn images always make me happy!

Thanks again for dropping in to visit. I hope to have another card to share with you soon.
