Good morning and welcome to Nonna's Craft Corner!
Well, it's Monday....again. The good thing about Mondays is that it's time for another
Challenge Me Monday at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog!
Today's challenge is #1 Dad.
As always, remember to use at least one Cricut cut on your project!
Here's my project for this week....
This card is for my hubby who is a retired Fire Fighter.
He retired after 25 years with the Fire Department and I think this card is perfect for him!
Can you read the ticket? (click on the photo to enlarge)
It's the perfect sentiment for my hubby...one escape from the dog house.
I love it! The next ticket is good for breakfast in bed. I stuck the tickets between layers of the doghouse so they can easily be pulled out and cashed in!
*For this card I used a wonderful paper stack from Cosmo Cricket called "Material Girl & Garden Variety".
*The dog and doghouse are from Cricut's Create A Critter cartridge.
The dog is cut at 2.25 inches. I cut two bottom layers and used pop dots between the layers.
The collar is a bit of twine and the bell is actually a brad.
*I cut the doghouse twice at 4 inches and again used pop dots for some dimension. I added some lines and dots with my white gel pen and a Happy Father's Day sentiment.
*The tickets are digi stamps from Whimsie Doodles. I printed them onto kraft paper and inked up the edges with a bit of Ranger Ink.
*Some more twine and a button finish up the card!
That's my card for today! I'm really happy that you stopped by for a few minutes. I hope you will hop over to FCCB to see what the wonderfully talented Design Team has put together to inspire you for this week's
Challenge Me Monday. After you check out all the fabulous projects, I hope you will join our challenge and link up your project at FCCB. I'll be stopping by to see what you have created!
Until next time,
Tanya
