Happy Friday everyone and welcome to Nonna's Craft Corner!
I'm so happy that today is Friday! I'm planning on picking up Emma after school today and she will be spending the weekend with us. I'm really looking forward to hearing all of her stories about her first couple of weeks in the first grade! We are also still anxiously awaiting the arrival of Brayden! I'll keep you posted as soon he decides to join us...be prepared for lots of pictures!
I don't know if you have heard about the fun going on over at the Pink By Design Facebook Page. If not, you need to head over there and join in on the fun of Flash Fridays! Sarah has come up with yet another reason to celebrate Fridays! Just drop by Pink By Design's Facebook page every Friday and wait until you see Sarah post a project to kick off Flash Friday. Once you see her post, you can upload one of your favorite creations to share with everyone. There are so many fabulous projects being posted at once, you can't help but be inspired! And, just to make it even better, Sarah very often throws in a give-away for those participating! Sounds like fun, huh? Let me show you what I posted for today's Flash Friday.....
Ok, I love the vintage look, but I have to say, it's not a style that comes easily to me. I love the vintage look I see other paper crafters creating, but I don't think I have quite pulled it off yet. I'm going to keep trying, so bear with me! I do love the papers I used for this card. They are from the paper stack Christmas Emporium by Graphic 45. Beautiful rich colors on nice, heavy cardstock.
I am giving you a bit of a sneak peek for the upcoming Pink By Design stamp release. This stamp is part of Sarah's newest Christmas collection. Keep watching the Pink By Design Blog and the Pink By Design Facebook Page for more information about this release! To finish up my card, I added some gold Crinkle ribbon and a dark red button tied up with a bit of vintage twine. A few dark brown gems from Close To My Heart are the final touch.
Well, that's all for now! I hope you have enjoyed my attempt at "vintage" such as it is! I also hope that you will join us at today's Flash Friday event! I look forward to seeing your creations there! Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time,
Gorgeous! Love how you distressed the layers! Really beautiful!
