Good morning everyone and welcome! I hope you enjoyed your Labor Day weekend and were able to spend some time doing what you love!
It's time for another Card Creating Tuesdays over at My Cricut Craft Room and I hope you will pop over there to see what all the designers have in store for you today! Over the long weekend, I pulled out a cartridge that I've had for a while but just haven't used yet. I thought I would give it a whirl for my Design Team project at My Cricut Craft Room...
This cartridge cuts beautifully and the pieces layered together so easily! I love the vintage look of this and will be pulling this cartridge out more often!
Recipe:
* Brown Corediantions cardstock cut at 5 X 10. Fold in half to create a 5 X 5 inch square card.
* Next, I used patterned paper from K&Compnay's Wild Saffron paper stack. This was cut at 4.75 X 4.75 inches. I used my paper distresser around the edges and then inked up everything with Vintage Sepia by Versafine.
*I used the Cricut cartridge Damask Decor to cut the medallion found on page 50 of the handbook. This was cut at 4 inches and all the edges were inked up, again with the Vintage Sepia ink. The bottom layer was cut twice and I used pop dots between the layers.
* Finishing touches include those pretty pearls from CTMH and that gorgeous Crinkle Ribbon from Pink By Design. I also inked up the edges of my cardstock for the inside of my card, added another piece of ribbon and a sentiment. The happy birthday sentiment is from the Crikey stamp set from Pink By Design. Here's a look at the inside of my card...
And there you go! I really appreciate your visit and your comments always make my day! Don't forget to stop by My Cricut Craft Room to see what the other designers have to share with you today!
Until next time,
Gor-Juss! I totally have to recreate this! I have that patterened paper! I keep saying that... so you must have really great taste! Hee! Hee! Love it!

ReplyDeleteHope you had a great Labor day...we didn't do much all weekend. It rained nonstop here for a couple of days. I ♥ the rain, so that was just fine with me. A little chilly here today...couldn't believe it. It was 95 just a few days ago...haha!
Also hope your new grandbaby is doing great (as well as mom and the rest of the family).
