Christmas Tags and Stamp Give-Away

Hello everyone and Happy Monday to you!

I hope you had a wonderful, relaxing weekend and are ready for some more "Christmas In July" with Peachy Keen Stamps.  To help celebrate the newest stamp release we have a couple of fun challenges going on over at The Peachy Keen Connection:

We're sponsoring TWO challenges this month and will be awarding one $25 Gift Certificate to one random winner from each challenge.  If you enter both challenges, you double your chances of winning a prize, but you do need to create one project for each challenge, as combining challenges is not allowed.

Using Peachy Keen Stamps on your project IS a requirement if you want to be considered to win the Gift Certificate!

We will randomly choose a winner from each group of challenge entries.  Those winners will be announced and their photo featured here on the PK Connection on Thursday, July 11th.

I thought I would share my project for Challenge Number 1, which is to create a Christmas project of your choice without using the colors red or green......

I love to decorate my Christmas gifts with big bows and pretty gift tags.

So, for this challenge I created a couple of sweet "shaker style" gift tags.

Recipe:

* I used the "Stitched Capture" Frame by My Creative Time to make the base for my tags.

* The darling little penguins and sentiment are from the July Stamp of the Month Set - PKSC-19

* I used some Martha Stewart coarse glitter between the layers for lots of sparkle.

* I colored some seam binding with my Copic marker to match my polka dot paper and added a fun snowflake to the bottom of each tag.

* The twine at the top of the tags is "Totally White" by Trendy Twine and it got a hit with my Copic marker for a perfect match - love that!

I've been having so much fun with our "Christmas In July" theme that I decided to have a little give-away of my own!  How about this fun little Peachy Keen Set.....
