Today all the designers at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons have put together projects with a "Superhero" theme - how fun is that?  This hop was especially great for me because I've got 2 little grandsons that are just getting old enough for all the Superhero stuff.  So my project for today's hop is all about Blake and Brayden....

How cute are these Superhero gift bags?

Materials Used:
* Black gift bags - Hobby Lobby
* Mats - Layered Labels 3 Cutting Files
* Superman and Batman - Superheroes Trio Cutting Files
* Sentiments - Jaded Blossom

I came across these fun Superhero shirts at Target and I grabbed them up for my little guys....

Blake will be Batman....

PKS Challenge - Anything Goes!

Hello and welcome to Nonna's Craft Corner.
It's time for another Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge and this is one of my favorite challenges - Anything Goes!

And, here's the scoop:
THE CHALLENGE
Create a project using Peachy Keen Stamps. Anything goes!
We'll be awarding "TOP PEACH" to the player who uses their Peachy Keen Stamps this week and  our two runner ups will receive a spiffy badge to display on their blog!
Guidelines:
- Design must be new
- Link up by 11/20 - 11:59 pm EST

Now, let me show you what I created for this fun challenge....

Materials Used:
* I up-cycled a used Starbuck's  Frappuccino 4 pack
* Printed papers - "Jolly Holidays" by Recollections
* Adorable snowlady - PK-1345
* Snowflakes - PK-148
* Background mat - Silhouette Online Store
* Coarse Crystal Glitter
* White Tulle

Two of the bottles are filled with hot chocolate mix.  One is filled with peppermint mini marshmallows and the other with chocolate covered peppermint sticks. YUMMY!

I tied the white tulle around the handle and fluffed it up.

It's hard to see in this photo, but, I cut mats for the lids (which I spray painted white).  I stamped on a pretty snowflake from the PKSC-23 set and colored them in with an Atyou Spica Glitter pen.  Then I added a clear gem to the center of each snowflake for the finishing touch!

Okay, that finishes up  my project - I hope you enjoyed it!  Be sure to stop by the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog to see what the other Designers have in store for you.  I hope you have a chance to play along with our challenge this week!

PKS/PPPR Thankful Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons and Peachy Keen Stamps Thankful Blog Hop!  With Thanksgiving just around the corner the Designers from each blog have created some lovely projects focusing on thankfulness.  We've used products from both of these fabulous companies to create our projects and can't wait to show you what we've made!

You should have arrived at my blog from GiGi's Blog at The Cricut Bug.  If you just stopped by for a visit and would like to start at the beginning of our hop, just head on over to Lisa's Blog at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.

And now I would like to share a layout of some little people that I am very thankful for....

(click on photo to enlarge)

I recently kept all 4 of my grands for a few days and took the opportunity to squeeze in a photo shoot!  It was no small task to get them all looking at me and (somewhat) smiling at the same time.  I took about a gazillion photos and managed to get more than a few keepers!
I used the following products for this page:
* Pumpkin, Bushel, Sentiment Mat - PKSC-22 (PKS)
* Burlap Trim - Hobby Lobby

Products used on this page:
* Sentiment - PKSC-01 (PKS)
* I also hand cut a journaling tag to slide behind the photo of all 4 grands.  I used pop-dots on the mat of this photo so that the tag would slide in easily.

The above photo shows the tag pulled out.
* Leaf on tag - PKSC-09 (PKS)

Thanks for letting me share my sweet little blessings with you!

Now, before I send you on your way, I wanted to let you know that both Peachy Keen Stamps and Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons will be giving away a $15.00 Gift Certificate to help celebrate today's Hop!  Be sure to leave a comment on each stop along the hop and leave your email address in your comment so that you can be contacted if your name is chosen!

Your next stop on today's Thankful Hop is my friend Cindy at Cindy's Scraptastic Designs.  Enjoy the rest of the Hop and I'll be seeing you soon.....
