Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
Thank you for stopping by today!

We've had a baby boom at our church lately so I pulled out a few things from my "My Favorite Things" stash and created some sweet tags to add to my baby gifts.  These were so much fun to make and once I got my assembly line going, they went together pretty quickly....

I started with some large, kraft gift tags I had on hand and covered them with some sweet prints.
Next, I used the "Baby Rattle" die from MFT to create the fun shakers.

Those sweet little elephants are from the MFT stamp set, "Adorable Elephants".

I added a sentiment from the "Beautiful Baby" stamp set.  A bit of twine and a little tulle finished up my tags perfectly.

Thanks again for stopping by today.
I always look forward to your visits and sweet comments ♥

Wishing You Brighter Days

Good morning!
Welcome to Studio 5380, I'm so happy that you stopped by.

Today I am sharing another card created with stamps from the March Release at Craftin' Desert Divas. I love all of the new stamps, but I have to say, the Rainy Days stamp set is my favorite.  The images are just adorable and this little elephant just makes me smile...

Isn't he the sweetest?

I also used the new Rain and Cloud stencil on my card.  I used Distress inks to create the sky and Copic Markers to make my sidewalk.

It's a rainy day here in Alabama and I plan on spending my day in my studio working on DT projects and catching up on my bloggy visits.  I hope you have a wonderful Monday!  See you soon.

You Make Every Day Brighter

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
Thanks for stopping by!

I had a little spare time to spend in my studio today so I thought I would play along with the current Sketch Challenge going on over at My Favorite Things.  This is a really fun sketch and I love how bright and cheerful my card turned out....

I created my background with the "Sun Ray" stencil and Distress Inks.

These sweet images are from the "Rain or Shine" stamp set and the sentiment is from the "Puddle Jumper" set.

My images are colored with Copic Markers and I added a bit of shimmer to the sun with a Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen.  I also added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the puddles for a little shine.

And now I'm off to link up my card.
I hope you have a wonderful day - see you soon!

This shaker card was so much fun to put together.

Ballerina Bunnies

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
I hope your Monday is off to great start for you. I've spent my Monday doing one of my least favorite activities - grocery shopping.  I love having a stocked fridge and pantry, but the process just seems to take such a long time! I really shouldn't be complaining, I am very thankful for a full pantry and a hubby that doesn't mind helping me lug all the groceries into the house. And, now that they are all put away, I think I'll move onto something I enjoy a bit more...sharing a couple of cards.

These sweet cards are both from the adorable Ballerina Bunnies stamp set from Craftin' Desert Divas.

Are these bunnies not the sweetest?!

I made a long, slim card to better showcase these cuties. I've haven't made this type of card in a long time and forgot how many images you can fit onto one. I'll definitely be making more of these.

My images are colored with Copic Markers and I added a few Blue Diamonds Sequins.

And, here is card number 2 created with this sweet stamp set:

For this card, I die cut different sized circles in sticky Post-It tape and used Distress Ink to create my colored circles.

For the inside of my card, I used the new Pop Up Rainbow Die. I love the fun little surprise awaiting the person who opens up this card!

Okay, time to go get things in the works for tonight's dinner.
Thank you so much for stopping by today- see you soon!

I Love Your Mug

Hi there!
Welcome to Studio 5380, thanks for stopping by.

I'm still trying to play catch-up on my posts, so it's gonna be short and sweet.
Let's get right to this super sweet card...

This sweet little mouse is from the Love Your Mug stamp set by Craftin' Desert Divas.  I also used the Nested Heart Dies to highlight my images.

My images are colored with Copic Markers and the background was created with Distress Inks.

I'm going to wrap this up for now and hope to post another project tomorrow.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and visit for a bit.  Take care and I'll see you soon ♥

Let's Get This Parrot-y Started!

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
Long time, no blog.

It's been a while and I'm going to try to play "catch up" over the next few day so get ready for lots of photos, not so many words.  Sounds pretty good, if you ask me 😉

I'm going to start with a couple of fun pirate cards that I created for the January Release over at Craftin' Desert Divas:

First up is this cutie...

This cutie is from the Pirate Treasure stamp set and I really love the way she turned out.

She is colored with Copic Markers and I created the background with Distress Inks.
I used the Stitched Alphabet Dies to create the word "Ahoy".

On my next card, I used a combination of stamps from the Pirate Treasure set and the Pirate Pals stamp set...

I really enjoyed this one - you can get so many cute images on a long, slim card!

Looks like a pirate party to me!

Thank you so much for stopping by today.
I hope to have more cards posted soon and I hope you will come by for a visit.

From The Whole Herd!

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
Happy Saturday to you!

I hope your weekend is going well.  I've spent mine doing some of my favorite things: sleeping late, crafting and visiting a local antique/junk shop.  Oh...and my hubby picked up fresh baked cinnamon rolls this morning - life is good! ♥

I'm trying to build up my birthday card stash and needed a little motivation so I thought I would play along with the current Lawn Fawn Challenge - Happy Little Critters.  You just can't go wrong with Lawn Fawn's adorable little critters!

I used several Lawn Fawn products for my card including:

"Hay There" stamp set
"Happy Village" stamp set
"Peekaboo Backdrop" die set
"Grassy Borders" die set
"Stitched Hillside Borders" die set

After cutting my frame from Kraft paper, I used several shades of brown Copic Markers to make it look a bit like weathered barn wood.

I colored my images with Copic Markers and created a fun little scene in each frame opening.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I hope to see you soon!

Be A Pineapple

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
I'm really glad that you stopped by today because I'm sharing my first card as part of the Craftin Desert Divas Design Team!

This week the Design Team will share projects created with an "Anything Goes" theme. I had so much fun coloring up this spunky little girl from the Be A Pineapple stamp set...

I started by stamping this cutie with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and coloring her with my Copic Markers.  Isn't she adorable?...

After creating my card base, I added a tag made with the Shaker Tag Dies set to showcase my image.  I cut out one tag from my patterned paper and 2 more from green card stock. I glued the layers together to create a little dimension for my card...

I wanted to add a bow to the top of my tag but didn't have card stock in the color I needed. So, I die cut the bow from white card stock and colored the pieces with a Copic marker.  I also added a little sparkle with a clear Wink of Stella Brush Glitter Marker:

I love this fun sentiment and simply stamped it onto a strip of kraft paper and cut a "v" on one end...

Assembling the pieces of my card was quick and easy and I love the way this fun image is the focus point of my card...
