Jump For Joy!

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.

It's been awhile and I'm hoping I remember how to do this whole blogging thing!  I am totally enjoying my new job as part of the Children's Worship Ministry Team at my church and I think that I am finally finding a balance between work and play. I have missed my crafty time and have really come to realize just how important it is to my sanity (although my sanity is questionable most days)!

Anyway...all that to say...I actually completed a card! My coloring skills are a little rusty, but I had fun making this one - and that's what counts.  So, here we go....

I used a couple of fun, fall-themed stamps from Lawn Fawn for my card:
*Happy Harvest
*Jump For Joy

These little guys are so cute and sure make me ready for Fall. The calendar may say that Fall has arrived, but our 90 plus degree days tell me otherwise!

I'm going to enter my card into the Lawnscaping Challenge #138 :

Okay, that was fun! I hope I can find the time to play again very soon.
Thanks so much to all of my sweet bloggy friends who continue to stop by and leave such kind comments. Thank you for giving up on me during this transition time - you ladies are wonderful ♥

Make a Wish!

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.

Have you ever wished for a Fairy Godmother?  Wouldn't it be great to have one on hand...ready to make your life easier? If I had a Fairy Godmother, I would want her to have a wand just as colorful and magical as these:

I used the fun Magic Wand Tubes from SRM Stickers and filled them with some pretty, colorful candy. The stars were cut with my Silhouette and I used a gold gel pen to add stitched lines around the edges. I also added a few glittery star shaped sequins.

Using a die and some glittery gold cardstock, I created a base for the beautiful "Make A Wish" sentiment from the Fancy Sentiment/Birthday Sticker Set.

Bright, colorful curling ribbon added the perfect finishing touch to my Magic Wands.
Now.....where is that Fairy Godmother of mine?

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
Have a great day and I'll see you soon!
