Hi there and happy Wednesday to you!
So, right here in the middle of all the Valentine frenzy, I have a Halloween project to share with you! No, I haven't gone completely around the bend (ok, so the verdicts still out on that one). This Halloween project is one that was published in the October issue of Cricut Magazine. I finally received my project back from the folks at Cricut and thought I would share it with you! Again, I don't have great photos because I only took basic pics to send to Cricut. I had thought that once it was returned to me, I could take some decent shots. However, it was returned to me in less than perfect condition (not happy with that). So, I'm going to show you what it looked like in the magazine then I'll share my "not so great" photos.....
Cricut Magazine - October 2012
pages 58 -59
And, here are the photos I took before mailing my project to Cricut mag...
Plain, white, boring background - but it will have to do!
*I used the Teresa Collins "Chic & Scary" cartridge for the treat bags and used my white gel pen to add some stitching lines.
* I made a couple of rosettes in bright orange and lime green.
* The cat and bat are both from the "Chic & Scary" cartridge and are covered with fine black glitter made by Martha Stewart.
* I filled the plastic bags with orange candy and tied them up with some twine.
* The tags are stamped with Halloween sentiments created by "Pink By Design".
Ok, I'll let you get back to all the fabulous Valentine treats being posted this time of year! Thanks for letting me share my Halloween goodies with you. It was so exciting to have a project chosen for publication and I couldn't wait until next Halloween to share with you! Hope the rest of your week is wonderful and I'll be seeing you soon (with a Valentine project).....
Until next time,
