Christmas Treats

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
Thanks for stopping by today.

I always enjoy giving my grands little treats throughout the year, but even more so at Christmastime. I came across some cute little Christmas Pez Candy Dispensers and was able to find 4 different designs (one for each grand...no fighting). Of course, I had to dress them up a little before giving them to the kiddos.  I finished up two of them tonight and hope to finish up the other two soon so that the kids can enjoy them.  These are for Blake and Hannah....

I used several Lawn Fawn products to create my tags:
*Stitched Circle Tags
*Stitched Circles
* Stitched Hillside Borders
* Milo's ABCs
*Toboggan Together

After coloring my images and assembling the tags, I adhered them to the candy packages.
2 down and 2 to go!

Thanks again for stopping by.
See you soon....

Merry And Bright

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
Thanks for stopping by today! I've got a fun card to share with you that was created for the current Sketch Challenge going on over at the MFT Challenge and Inspiration Blog.  So, let's get started...

This cute little elf is from the Santa's Elves stamp set by My Favorite Things.
I love this stamp set and find myself turning to it time and time again as I'm working on my Christmas cards.

Using the pretty Wilted Violet Distress Ink, I watercolored my panel and die cut it with the Cross Stitch Rectangle Die from MFT Stamps.

The patterned background paper is from the Doodlebug paper pad, Frosty Friends.

The washi tape and stars are die cuts made from the MFT Blueprints 13 die set. I am seriously loving the new Silver Sparkle cardstock by MFT Stamps - all the sparkle and shimmer of glitter without the mess and it cuts like butter!

And, as usual, I had to pretty up the inside of my card.

Here's a look at the current sketch in case you would like to play along.
And, now I'm off to link up my card over at the MFT Challenge and Inspiration Blog. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I'll be seeing you soon....

PDE Linky Party

Hi there everyone and welcome to Studio 5380.
I have some fun news to share with you today. I've joined the fabulously talented Design Team over at PDE Linky Party. I'm excited to be working with Janis and her wonderful Designers and would like to invite you to join our weekly challenge. Each Friday brings a new challenge...and the best part?  Every week the challenge is....Anything Goes! How awesome is that? So, let's get started with my first project as part of the team....

I have made several versions of this project over the years and always love the way they turn out. I start out with a Starbucks Iced Coffee carrier and bottles.  After washing the bottles and spray painting the lids, they are ready to fill with all sort of goodies.  The carrier is easy to cover and can be decorated with papers to fit any occasion.

I used several products from My Favorite Things to create my little Christmas scene:
* Stitched Pinking Edge Squares die set
* Christmas Cuteness stamp set
* Santa's Elves stamp set
* Jingle All The Way stamp set

The bottle tops were decorated with these super cute stockings.

To dress up the bottles a bit, I simply added a strip of pretty Christmas paper and tied a bit of white tulle around the center.

And there you go!  A fun, sweet Christmas gift for someone special.
 Again, I would like to invite you to join our Anything Goes Challenge over at PDE Linky Party, we would love to see what you create!

Merry Christmas

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
I hope your week is going well for you. So far, so good around here. I'm trying to get busy on Christmas cards, tags and gifts. Time is ticking and Christmas is getting closer and closer!

Today's card was created for the current Lawnscaping Challenge.  The challenge is to use older sets of Lawn Fawn stamps. So, I pulled out my stash and I have to say, I'm pretty happy with the way this one turned out....

I used the following Lawn Fawn products for my card:
* Let's Bokeh in the Snow paper pad
* Cozy Christmas stamp set
* Joy to the Woods stamp set
* Flirty Frames stamp set
* Lobster ink

I stamped my Flirty Frames image with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Ranger's Gold Tinsel embossing powder. The sentiment is stamped in Lawn Fawn's Lobster ink.

My images were colored with Copic Markers. I added clear glitter with a Wink Of Stella Glitter Marker to the flames, stockings and cookie platter.

Okay, that about wraps it up for me today. Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I'm off to link up my card at the Lawnscaping Challenges Blog:

Have a wonderful day and I hope to see you again soon....

All I Want For Christmas Is Ewe!

Hi there and happy Monday to you.
Thanks for stopping by on this dreary, yucky day.  It's been raining here for the  last couple of days and while the rain has finally stopped, the skies are still gray and sad looking.  And, I'm feeling kinda blue anyway because my oldest son, his wife and my 3 youngest grands moved yesterday. They will only be 3 hours away from us, but still....blah.....

So, time to get moving and get out of this mood I'm in.  I've opened up my windows to let in the cool air, lit a few seasonal candles, got the laundry under way and taking a bit of "me time" before I tackle cleaning the bathrooms....another...blah!

I haven't taken the time to play along with a challenge in a long time, so I though it might be a good way to lighten my mood. This card is for the current Lawnscaping Challenge - Thinking of You, or in my case, Thinking of Ewe.....

The sweet sheep are from the adorable Baaah Humbug stamp set from Lawn Fawn Stamps.

I also used the following Lawn Fawn goodies for my card:
* Let's Bokeh in the Snow paper pack
* Forest Border die
* Stitched Hillside Borders die
* Stitched Rectangles die

My images are colored with Copic Markers and I added some crystal glitter to my snow.  A few white pearls and a twine bow dressed up my mistletoe, while a pom pom and bow finished up these darling little sheep ♥

Thanks again for stopping in for a visit today, I really appreciate it!
Now, I'm off to link up my card over at the Lawnscaping Challenges Blog.  Have a wonderful day and I'll be seeing you soon!

Peace On Earth

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
Wow...November sort of snuck (is that a real word?) up on me!  September and October went by in a blur and here it comes....holiday panic mode! It's time to get busy with those Thanksgiving and Christmas projects because that countdown clock is ticking away! There are only 20 more days until Thanksgiving and 49 until Christmas (just in case you were wondering)...yikes!

So, with those numbers in mind, I have a sweet Christmas card to share with you today....

I knew I had to have this stamp set the very first time I laid eyes on it!
My card was created with the stamp set, Drummer Boy by WPlus9 Design and I think the images are just sweet as can be ♥

All of my images are colored with Copic Markers and the sky has a nice shimmer created with a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker.

Very simple, but very sweet and meaningful.

Okay, it's time for me to get up and get busy!
Thanks so much for stopping by today, I really appreciate your visits and sweet comments.  Have a great day and I hope to see you again very soon....
