Believe in your Dreams

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
It's Tuesday and my turn to post over at Butterfly Reflections Ink...

I used the new "Pretty Poppies" die set from Lawn Fawn to create another non-traditional graduation card for a sweet young lady.

I also used my new Distress Oxide Inks to ink up these beautiful flowers. I had convinced myself that I did not want need more inks, but finally caved and ordered them all! I think I am in love ♥

You can see all the details and find links to the products used for my card over at the Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog.  I hope you get a chance to stop by for a visit!

Have a wonderful day and I'll see you soon!

Happy Father's Day

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
I'm dropping in today to share a Father's Day card I made for my sweet hubby.  I used the beautiful stamp set, "Shine Bright" from Avery Elle...

My background was created with several different Distress Inks. I did a lot of masking and inking on this one!  It's not perfect, but I love the way it turned out.

My images are colored with Copic Markers.

I always struggle with masculine cards.  This stamp set made creating a Father's Day card so much easier.  Do you have a favorite "go-to" stamp set for creating guy cards?  I definitely need to add a few more sets to my collection.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.
Have a great day and I'll see you soon!

Happy Graduation

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
Happy Friday to you!

I am so ready for this weekend. I have a to-do list as long as my arm but I'm going to sneak in a few fun things also (I hope).  Anyway, I have yet another graduation card to share with you today. This one was a lot of fun to make...

I started off with some Salty Ocean Distress Ink and that awesome Cloud Stencil from My Favorite Things.  I inked up my cloudy sky then used Lawn Fawn's "Quinn's 123s" dies to cut 2017 out of my card base.  I cut my numbers 3 more times from white cardstock and layered them together.

The "Happy Graduation" sentiment is from Lawn Fawn's "Happy Happy Happy" stamp set.  And, that fun airplane and banner are from their "Plane and Simple" stamp set.  I colored my images with Copic Markers and added some clear Wink of Stella here and there.

I added my cloudy layer to a dark blue cardbase and used foam tape to pop up my airplane and banner.  Next I inserted my layered numbers into the space created when I die cut them.

And there you go - another graduation card to check off my list!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
I hope you have a fun, relaxing, wonderful weekend!

Go And Be Awesome

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
Happy Saturday to you!

I'm trying to finish up my graduation cards and I have another non-traditional version to share with you today...

I created my card background with some Distress Inks in Salty Ocean and Mermaid Lagoon.  I love the pretty shade of blue I was able to achieve with these two colors.

The white frame is made with the Stitched Rounded Rectangle Die Set from MFT and the sentiment is from the Neat and Tangled stamp set "Awesome".

These fun flowers are from the "Doodled Blooms" stamp set by My Favorite Things. I colored them in bold colors with my Copic Markers and gave them a little shimmer with some Clear Wink of Stella.  I added a few Pretty Pink Posh "Clear Droplets" here and there as a finishing touch.

I've linked many of the products I've used for this card to the Butterfly Reflection Ink store. Vanessa has great prices, fast shipping and a wonderful sale that is still going on. If you haven't checked out her store yet, please stop by for a visit and tell her I sent you!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I'll see you soon...
