heard you caught a bug

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
Happy Friday to you!

Thanks for stopping by today. I have a sweet card to share with you that I created with images from a new (to me) stamp company. I recently stumbled onto "Sunny Studio" stamps and really love their sweet, simple images.  Today's card was made with their "Backyard Bugs" set...

Hot pink mushrooms?
ummmm...yes, please!

For this card, I stamped my images onto a white mat using a little bit of masking.  I used a pretty border die from My Creative Time along the bottom of my mat creating a sweet edge.  My images are all colored with Copic Markers and I added a bit of clear Wink of Stella glitter here and there.

Prettying up the inside of my card was super easy with these fun, happy prints from the Doodlebug paper stack, Hello Sunshine.

To finish  up my card, I added a few bright, happy enamel dots.

And, that's about it!
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I always look forward to your visits and appreciate your sweet comments. Have a great weekend and I'll see you soon.

Paper Play Sketches 002

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
It's Wednesday and time for another Sketch Challenge over at Paper Play Sketches..  Let me show you the great sketch Janis created for Challenge #002....

And, here's the card I created for this sketch....

I made this one for my granddaughter, Hannah, who loves all things Frozen.

This sweet image is from the "Little Darling Winter" stamp set by Your Next Stamp.  I colored her with Copic Markers and added lots of sparkle with a Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Marker.

And, of course, no Frozen project is complete without Olaf!

And, there you go!
I hope you get a chance to play along with our challenge and I look forward to seeing your project linked up at Paper Play Sketches.  Be sure to stop by the blog to see all the amazing projects put together by the Design Team for your inspiration.

Have a great day and I'll see you soon!

You Are My Sunshine

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
Thanks for stopping in for a visit!

Today's card was created for the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge.  Challenge #39 is called "Come Tag Along" and is all about creating tags or a card embellished with a tag.

I used the sweet stamp set, Bring The Sunshine from Simon Says Stamp for my card....

My tag was created with the Tag Builder Blueprint 4 die set from My Favorite Things. Using the Simon Says Stamp Grid Stencil and a mixture of Lemon Zest and White Linen Dylusions paints, I sponge painted the die.  After the tag was dry, I spritzed on some Pure Sunshine Ink Spray from Dylusions then stamped my sentiment in black and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

The orange background paper is from Doodlebug and is cut with Lawn Fawn's Stitched Rectangle Dies. The gray mat is made of watercolor paper and painted with my Tombow Dual Brush Markers in various shades of gray.

The clouds are from the Lawn Fawn Spring Showers Die set.  I added just a touch of gray color to the clouds and a bit of sparkle with clear Wink of Stella.  A few enamel dots were all I need to finish up my card perfectly.

And, of course I had to pretty up the inside of my card as well. I love this fun image from the SSS Bring the Sunshine stamp set.

Sorry about the long-winded details, but I used lots of products on this one!
I'm off to link up my card now, see you soon....

Make A Wish!

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
Happy Friday to you!

I had a chance to play along with the current challenge over at Lawnscaping Challenges today! This challenge is all about celebrations - birthday, anniversaries, etc.  I pulled out multiple Copic markers and really enjoyed coloring all these cute images in bright, happy colors...

The images for my card are from the fun Party Animal stamp set by Lawn Fawn.

After adhering my background to some black and white polka dot paper, I popped up this cute little fox using foam adhesive.

I also added some of the cute confetti stamps to the inside of my card. I used several of the Lawn Fawn inks to stamp these. I have slowly been adding to my collection of Lawn Fawn inks and I have to say, I love the bright, vivid colors ♥

I'm off to link up my card at the Lawnscaping Challenges Blog.
Have a great weekend and I'll see you soon!

I have a fun project to share with you today using a cutting file from the Silhouette Online Store and some cute stamps from Lawn Fawn...

I found this cute little fella in the Silhouette Online Store. I used some pretty polka dotted paper and then added some Stickles for a bit of sparkle.  The goggle eye was a fun finishing touch!

My tag was created with goodies from Lawn Fawn and Copic Markers.

The tag is from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Tags die set and the stamp set is Fintastic Friends.

Thanks again for stopping by today!
Have a great day and I'll see you soon...

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
Happy Valentine's Day to you!

I'm just popping in to share  one last Valentine's Day card with you.  I can't believe it will soon be time to start working on Easter cards!

I'm still trying to figure out the whole watercoloring thing! I used my Zig Clean Color Brushes for this card and I do find it easier than pan watercolors.  After years of making cards with images cut first my Circuit and then the Cameo, I have a tough time with designs that are more "loose".  I'm used to those precise, detailed cuts and it's hard for me to just go with the flow.

While I may never be a wonderful watercolor artist, I do enjoy the technique and plan on working on my skills...I have too much money invested in paints to give it up at this point!

For this card, I used the Simon Says Stamp sets, "Roses For You" and "Hello, Beautiful".

Thanks so much for stopping in for a visit.
Enjoy your Valentine's Day and I'll see you soon...

Paper Play Sketches - 001

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.

Today is the very first challenge at the brand new Paper Play Sketches Challenge Blog!
I'm very thankful to Janis for putting together this fun blog and for asking me to be a part of her wonderful Design Team.  So without future ado, let's get to the first sketch....

Here's my project for this challenge...

This fun robot image is from the Bionic Bots stamp set by My Favorite Things.  I also used the Radial Stitched Circles die set from MFT Stamps.

The patterned papers are from an old paper stack that has been in my stash for a very long time, Monsters and Robots made by Recollections.  I gave my robot some googly eyes and added a few gears to finish up my card.

Now, it's your turn!  I hope you will play along with this cute sketch and link up your project with us. You have 2 weeks to play along and we will be adding new sketches every other Wednesday.

Be sure to stop by Paper Play Sketches to see what the other Designers have created for your inspiration.  I  hope to see your creation linked up with us!

Lawnscaping Challenge #123

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.

I hope you have been enjoying the weekend.  I've been dealing with a cold that has knocked me off my feet for the last couple of days...blah. Colds are never fun, but it could be worse and I am beginning to feel better...so, it's all good.

I was on a roll with the 30 Day Coloring Challenge before this cold started making me miserable.  I missed day 6 and I'm not sure that I will get anything done for today (Day 7). But, I do have my project from Day 5 to share with you....

This was created with lots of products from one of my favorite companies, Lawn Fawn:
* Goodie Bag Die
* Stitched Circle Tags Die set
* Turn Me On Stamp set

After coloring all the light bulbs with my Copic markers, I added tiny little hearts with Lawn Fawn Ink in Lobster, assembled my bag and tied on the tag with some pretty twine.

I'm off to link up my Valentine's Day Goodie Bag over at the Lawnscaping Challenge:

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

You Are So Cool!

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
Happy Friday to you!

I had planned on popping in yesterday to share my project for Day 4 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge.  But, you know how it is with plans...sometimes they pan out, sometimes not so much.  I think I'm coming down with a cold and I'm feeling pretty yucky, so better late than never I guess. Anyway, here's my card for Day 4....

I used the following Lawn Fawn products for my card:
* Here's The Scoop stamp set
* Stitched Heart Stackables die set
* Scalloped Rectangle Stackables die set
* Stitched Rectangles die set
* Stitched Circles die set

That perfect background paper is from and old paper stack called Fruit Stand by Doodlebug.

Inside of card

It's always so hard to capture in a photo, but the popsicle and heart are covered in Clear Wink of Stella Glitter.

I'll be linking up my card in the current Lawnscaping Challenge:

Thanks for stopping by today - see you soon!

You Have My Heart

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.

Today's post is going to be short and sweet!  I'm  just dropping in to share my card for Day 3 of the  30 Day Coloring Challenge....
I used the super sweet stamp set, "Roses For You", from Simon Says Stamp on my mini (4 x 4) Valentine's Day card.

I created a mat from Ranger Watercolor paper and a Lawn Fawn Stitched Square die.  Using distress ink in Picked Raspberry I watercolored the background of my mat. The heart is watercolored in a mixture of Fired Brick and Candied Apple.

After the watercolors were dry, I gave the mat a spritz of Gold Color Shine by Heidi Swapp and added some gold Wink of Stella glitter to the arrow. To finish things up, I adhered the watercolor panel onto a a layer of Gold Sparkle cardstock from My Favorite Things.

I'm going to link my card up at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge (Have a heart).
Thanks so much for stopping by - I hope to see you tomorrow with a project for Day 4 of the
30 Day Coloring Challenge.
