I hope that you and your families all had a wonderful Christmas Holiday! My family and I had a great time! We were not all able to be together at the same time (hate that), but it was ok...we just celebrated every time someone showed up! My hubby got us another HUGE tree this year. This one was around 12 feet tall! I can't tell you how many times I moved the ladder (yet again) to decorate this large tree.
Yippee....they're here! Christopher (my oldest), his wife Elizabeth and my cutie pie grandson, Blake!
My youngest (Matthew) made it home and my sweet granddaughter (Emma) became his shadow! She loves her Uncle Matt Matt. Of course it didn't hurt that he came bearing gifts...Epic Mickey was a huge hit!
It was such a joy to see the expressions on faces of my grandchildren the during this special time of year! Here they are just having an awesome time playing with the empty boxes, paper and bows...who needed gifts?
I truly hope that you all had a great time with loved ones during this season and made lots of priceless memories! Now it's time to get ready for a New Year and work on those resolutions for the coming year. I have a couple of resolutions pertaining to scrapping that I am going to share with you.........
1. Really, really, really cut back on the amount of money I spend on crafting supplies ( ok, ok, I make this one just about every year, but this time I REALLY mean it)! It's time to try using some of the stuff I actually already own...hmmmmm...who knows what is in all the nooks and crannies of my craft room! :0)
2. I also plan to get very busy on scrapping pictures that haven't seen the light of day in years! I have boxes and boxes of pics that are just begging to be added to a layout all their own. My grandson is almost 2 years old and his scrapbook is up to about 2 months old...got to get busy!
Ok, that's it for now...I hope to have some scrapbook layouts (made with supplies I have on hand) to share with you in a few days! Hope you all enjoy a happy, safe New Years and thanks for stopping by!
