Happy Birthday, Blake!

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!

It's been a super busy day today.  We had our annual Easter Egg Hunt at church this morning and had a great time with all the kids.  It's so much fun to watch them playing the games and searching for eggs. And, who doesn't love cupcakes at 11:00 on a Saturday morning?

Today is not only a busy day, but it's a very special day....my oldest grandson turns 9 years old today!  I hate that he lives so far away and we don't get to spend time together on birthdays, but I will be seeing him soon.  In the meantime, this card will have to hold us over....

I used the "Team Player" stamp set from Sunny Studios to create my starry card base and trophy.

This was my first time to use the "Gift Card Window and Frame" from My Favorite Things and I absolutely love it! I love that it showcases the gift card on the front and adding sequins made it into a super fun shaker card.

My images were all colored with Copic Markers and got a touch of shimmer with a Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter Pen.

And, here's the birthday boy....

Happy birthday to my favorite 9 year old!
Papa and I love you very much and can't wait to see you!

Thanks again for stopping by today - see you soon.

Wishing You a Lifetime of Joy & Happiness

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

I'm up on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog today with a card I created for a special occasion.  There will be a wedding shower for my son and his future bride today and I'm so happy to be sharing the card I made for their special day ♥♥♥

I used the beautiful stamp set "Splendid Swans" from My Favorite Things to create my card.

If you would like more information about my card, you can read all the details over at the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog.  I hope you get a chance to stop by!

Thanks again for dropping by for a visit. Have a great day and I'll see you soon!

You Rock!

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380!

I was running through my Instagram account to see what projects I may have forgotten to share with you and found that I am so behind on my blog posts!  So, I'm hoping to get a few posted over the next couple of day and get caught back up.  We'll see how that works out for me 😉

I made this card for Valentine's Day for my oldest granddaughter, Emma:

This image was a digital download from Power Poppy Stamps.
I don't used digital stamps very often, but I loved the bundle of images that were included with this fun image and I wanted to try something new. I'm pretty happy with the way this one turned out.

I used my long-neglected Zig Watercolor Brush Markers to color this and remembered why I love them so much. I need to pull them out more often because I love the bold, vibrant colors!

And, there you go!
I can check this card off my "not posted yet" list! Hopefully I can get another posted in the next day or two.  Have a great afternoon and I'll see you soon.

Happy Easter!

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
It's that time again - time to work on all things SPRING! I love this time of year - the pretty, pastel colors, the breeze in the air, new blooms and new life, and of course, Easter.  I also love making cute Easter goodies for my grands and I've got my first Easter project of the year to share with you today:

This cute little goodie bag was created with lots of Lawn Fawn cuteness:
* Goodie Bag die set
* Chirpy Chirp Chirp stamp set
* Easter Party stamp set
* Mini Pop Up Butterflies die set

My images were all colored with Copic Markers and the background was created with Distress Ink in Broken China.

To give the Easter egg a fun, painted look, I first colored it with Copic Markers.  Next, I added a small amount of Colorless Blender to a scrap of corduroy fabric and blotted the egg.  If you look closely, you see the lines it created on the egg.  After allowing that to dry, I covered the egg in Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle...gotta have some sparkle!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
I'm off to link up my goodie bag with the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge - Fun With Dies.     Have a great day and I'll see you soon!

Celebrate Your Day

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
Thank you for stopping by today!

Well, I made plans to post more often, but life seems to continue interfering with my plans! Anyway, today I am finally sharing a birthday card that I made for my Mama. Just to show you how behind I am running with my posts, her birthday was February 16th.  Oh well, better late than never I guess!

This image is from a stamp company I have never used before, "Pink Fresh Studio".  They have some very unique stamps and I had fun coloring this one.

I used a stencil from "My Favorite Things" to create my background. I'm really loving that hot pink brick wall!

Thank you so much for dropping in for a visit.
I hope to share another project with you very soon.
