Believe

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
It's Friday (yay) and time for another Friends With Flair over at Unity Stamps.  I used the sweet angel from the October 2014 KOTM set for today's card....

For this card I inked up my background using some Distress Ink in Broken China and Salty Ocean and added a bit of machine stitching around the edges.  Next, I added a few stars with some embossing paste and a stencil.

I colored up the image using Copic Markers and added some shimmer to her wings with a Silver Wink of Stella Glitter Marker.

Okay, that about wraps it up for me today. Thanks so much for stopping in for a visit ♥
Have a wonderful weekend and I'll see ya soon,

Snowflakes are kisses from Heaven!

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
I hope you are having a great week.  Can't believe that not only is this week almost over, but this month is almost over too!  October sure flew by for me!

So, not to be mixing up the holidays...but today I have a sweet little snowman card and some fun Halloween photos to share with you.  Let's start with the card....

Isn't he sweet?
This little guy was created with the following items from The Stamps of Life:
* snowman2build stamp set
* soup4snowman stamp set

Now for some Halloween Cuteness....

We had Trunk or Treat at my church last night and all 4 of my sweet grands were there ♥

Her whiskers were about gone at this point, but isn't our Hannah the cutest little kitten EVER?

I'm not sure what the 3 little guys were looking at, but I love this pic of Papa (my hubby) and these wonderful little people.

Well, that about does it for me today.
Have a wonderful day and I'll see ya soon....

Looks like snow!

Hello - welcome to Studio 5380.
Today is a busy day for me so today's post will be short and sweet!  I have a couple of cards created with the pretty snowflakes2stamp and Snowflake Dies sets by Stephanie over at The Stamps of Life.
The first card is a shaker card.....

And, here is is the inside...

I love the white snowflakes stamped onto this royal blue background...

After cutting out the large snowflake, I covered it with Glossy Accents and some Chunky Glitter by Martha Stewart (love the sparkle).

Okay, short and sweet as promised!
Have a wonderful day and I'll see ya soon....

Have a Spooktacular Halloween!

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Mine went by in a blur of yard work, laundry, and the dreaded garage clean-out (where does all that junk come from).  I did manage to squeak in a bit of time in my Studio this afternoon and put together this fun Halloween goodie bag....

I had a tough time trying to get a good photo - the black bag has a glossy finish and my lights seemed to bounce all over the place! Please excuse the glare.

I started with a mat cut from the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables.  I used Ranger Distressed Inks in Rusty Hinge, Chipped Sapphire and Dusty Concord to create my spooky background. After inking, I added a light spritz of White Linen Ink Spray by Dylusions.

All the fun images are from the Lawn Fawn stamp set, Happy Haunting.  I colored them up with my Copic Markers and adhered them to the background which I matted with a Large Stitched Rectangle Stackable.  Some fun purple tulle and a creepy spider were the perfect finishing touches for my Halloween treat bag!

And, that wraps up another Halloween treat.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Take care and I'll see ya soon....

FWF - Holiday Style

Hello everyone and welcome to Studio 5380.
It's Friday...and time for another Friends With Flair over at Unity Stamps!  I didn't get a chance to play along last week so I was very happy to find a bit of time to play with my Unity goodies yesterday.  This stamp is one I've had for 2 or 3 weeks and it is soooo cute! I've been wanting to get it inked up ever since it arrived in my mailbox.............

This image is called Hollie Girl and was created by Angie Blom (love her).

I colored her up with my Copic markers, and added some Wink of Stella Glitter on a few of the bows (wish it showed up better in photos).  I love this glitter because it gives just the right amount of sparkle without taking over the image.

Not only do I love this image, but I adore the sentiment!  I have to admit, the tune got stuck in my head while working on this card...city sidewalks...busy sidewalks....

Okay, I'm off to link up my card over at the Unity Blog.  Have a wonderful Friday and a fun, safe weekend and I'll see ya soon....

Some of my best friends are flakes!

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
So, how was your day? Mine has been pretty busy, but that's okay - busy is good!

I have another fun snowman project to share with you today. I am just loving this cute little guy created by Stephanie from The Stamps of Life....

For this project, I started with a cutting file from the Silhouette Online Store. The mug was really easy to put together and is the perfect size for 3 yummy packages of hot cocoa mix and a bundle of peppermint sticks.

I cut a strip of kraft paper and stamped on a few snowflakes from the snowflakes2stamp stamp set. I also gave the strip a spritz of "White Linen" Ink Spray by Dylusions.

My tag is stamped with a sentiment from the soup4snowman stamp set.  I tied everything up with some pretty red crinkle ribbon.

This adorable little guy was created with the following items by TSOL:

I just love this cute little fellow!
Thanks so much for stopping by today - take care and I'll see ya soon....

Lawn Fawn Halloween Treat Bags

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
I hope your day is going well for you.  So far, so good around here. I'm rotating my house cleaning stuff with some fun stamping stuff. You know....clean the shower, color an image. Vacuum one room, fussy cut an image. Make the bed, assemble a treat bag.  It make take me all stinkin' day, but at least I'll have one clean room and 2 treat bags to show for it!

So, let me show you what I've managed to put together today on "my breaks"!  I've had these adorable Halloween goodies from Lawn Fawn and just haven't had a chance to play with them until today.  I have had so much fun with these cuties....

Fun, fun, fun!

Here's a list of the Lawn Fawn products I used:
* Goodie Bag Die
* Stitched Hillside Borders Die
* Spooktacular Stamp Set

I colored up the images with my Copic Markers and added a bit of Glitter with a Wink of Stella Glitter Marker. I also added some twine around the bottom of each treat bag.

A few sparkly stars finished up these sweet goodie bags and now I just have to add a few yummy treats for some special little goblins I know!

I'm going to link up my treat bags at this weeks Lawnscaping Challenge - Halloween.

Thanks so much for stopping by today - I guess I need to to vacuum another room now...(sigh).
Have a great day and I'll see ya soon....

JOY

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
Can you believe it's Monday...already?  I don't know where the weekend goes, but it sure goes there quickly!  So, let's get this week started - I've got a bright, colorful Christmas card to get this week off to a happy start.....

The colors of this card make me happy, happy, happy!
My card base is created with the Sizzix Framelits Circle Flip-it's #2 Die set by Stephanie of The Stamps of Life.

The pretty Christmas ornament is from the Triplits Die Set - Ornaments. I added some sliver gems across the center of the ornament and a bit of glitter to the ornament hanger.

Here is a photo of the card opened up and you can see that I added a white circle so that a note can be written to the recipient.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Monday and I'll see you soon...

Merry Christmas - Vintage Style

Hello everyone and happy Saturday to you!
I have a Christmas card with a bit of the vintage feel to share with you today. This card was made with the new Snowflake Dies set created by Stephanie of The Stamps of Life.  I wanted to go for something a little different from the expected white, glittery snowflake.......

I love the warm, rustic feel of this card.

I distressed the edges of my patterned papers and inked them up with some Vintage Sepia ink by Versfine. I used the Snowflake Die set to create my snowflakes from Kraft paper and inked them up also.  A few buttons, some twine and gems finished up this card nicely.

And, of course, I had to make the inside pretty too!

That's about it for me today. I hope you enjoy your weekend -take care and I'll be seeing you soon...

Spooky, Frightful & Delightful

Hello all my sweet blogging friends and welcome to Studio 5380!
I know I have been bombarding you with Christmas projects over the last couple of weeks and thought I would share a Halloween project for a change of pace....

I started with a cute hand sanitizer box cut file from the Silhouette Online Store.
Next came lots of fun Halloween die cuts and stamps from Jaded Blossom including the following:

*Spring Dies (grass)
* Halloween Dies (hat, pumpkin, bats)
*Star Dies (star border and single stars)

For the top of each box, I used the following JB products:

*Card Mat Dies
*Too Cute to Spook stamp set

I covered each bottle with a strip of patterned paper and added a fun label to the front. I also dressed up the top of each bottle.  I used the Spooky Labels stamp set and Too Cute To Spook stamp set.

All done!
I really love the way these turned out and I'll be playing along with a few Halloween challenges:

Jaded Blossom - October Challenge : Anything Halloween
PDE Linky Party - Anything Halloween
Crazy 4 Challenges - Challenge 257 Halloween Treats

Okay, that's about it for now.
Take care and have a wonderful day! See ya soon....

Christmas Shaker Card

Hi there and happy Wednesday to you!
I know it's just October, but Stephanie of The Stamps of Life has created so many wonderful Christmas stamps and dies that I just have to share another Christmas cards with you....

I started with a pretty Christmas print and did a bit of machine stitching around the edges.  Next, I made cute little shakers from the new Sizzix Triplits Die Set - Ornaments.

I adhered the shakers to the front of my card and used some white twine to "hang" the ornaments. I also added a bow to each ornament.

My sentiment is from the ornaments4Christmas stamp set and is stamped onto a mat cut with the Sizzix Framelits Die Set, Labels, Fancy #4.

This one was really easy to put together and I really have "a thing" for shaker cards so I'm pretty happy with the way this one turned out.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Enjoy the rest of your day and I'll be seeing you soon....
