Christmas Blessings

Hello everyone and welcome to Studio 5380.
Wow...another Monday...how do they happen so quickly each week?  Not to mention, it's the last Monday of September! I can't believe that October is just a couple of days away!

So, let me get back in Christmas mode again since it is only 86 days away (yes, I know...who needs this information on a Monday?). I have two more cards to share with you today that I created with this month's new release and add on set from The Stamps of Life....

I used the Ornament Dies 2 die set to cut out this pretty ornament then covered it with sparkly red glitter and a bright green bow - easy peasy!

For this bright, happy card, I again used the Ornament Dies 2 die set to create the base of each ornament. Next, I stamped a patterned layer using the moreornaments4Christmas stamp set.

I love all the fun patterns in this stamp set!

Okay, back to Monday morning chores ....blah.  I would much rather be stamping, but there are beds to make, bathrooms to clean, laundry to take care of...and...that crazy cleaning fairy seems to be in hiding yet again!  Have a wonderful Monday and I'll be seeing you soon (let me know if you run across my missing cleaning fairy)....

have a lovely day

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380 - happy Friday to you!
Okay, so something new and different for me today.  I've recently become a big fan of Unity Stamps (yes, I know...I am very late to the party) and I'm trying to incorporate new techniques and crafting goodies into my Unity Projects.  Friday's "Friends with Flair" seems like the perfect opportunity to try out something new (at least new to me) so I decided to try out some of the new products I've been hoarding  saving on today's card.....

Products Used:
* Flower stamp from the June, 2014 KOTM (Unity Stamps)
* Sentiment - "A Lovey Butterfly Day" stamp (Unity Stamps)
* Spray Inks by Dylusion in Lemon Zest, Pure Sunshine and Bubblegum Pink
* Tim Holtz stencil - Dot Fade
* Embossing Paste by Wendy Vecchi
* Copic Markers

So, I finally broke out the embossing paste that I have been hoarding saving for the last couple of months.  It was super easy to use and I don't know why I have been so afraid to give it a try.  I wish I had used a bolder stencil, but as you can see, I was a bit timid with my first try. I love the texture it added to my card and you will definitely be seeing more of this product in future projects.

I've actually used my Dylusion ink sprays a time or two, but not often enough.
I really love the background I was able to create with these fun sprays and will be pulling them out to play more often!

Okay, that's about wraps it up for today. Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit.  I'm off to link my card up over at Unity's Friends With Flair.  Have a wonderful weekend and I'll be seeing you soon.....

It's a cupcake kinda day....

Good morning and welcome to Studio 5380.
It's Thursday, the weekend is lurking just around the corner and I'm in the mood for cupcakes!  Yep....cupcakes!   The ever-so-amazing Stephanie of The Stamps of Life recently released a darling set of cupcake dies that are just too cute. I've had so much fun playing with this yummy set - just take a look at a few cards I've put together.....

Pretty sweet, don't ya think?

I love the pink and brown combo on this card.

And, next up.....

I used the Square Flip-its Die to create the card base for this fun card.
I also used some great Felt from The Stamps of Life  for some of the cupcake layers ♥

And, here's a peek at the back of my card.

Okay....just one more....

I love the bright, happy colors of this card!

Aren't these fun?
Stephanie's new Sizzix Triplits Die Set - Cupcakes are super fun and easy to work with!

Well, I think I've had my sugar quota for the day!

Aye Treasure You!

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
Thanks so much for stopping in for a visit today. I actually found a bit of time to play along with a challenge (something I haven't done is such a long time) and I am loving the way it turned out! The DieCuttin' Divas Challenge Blog is having a fun Pirate's Day Challenge and I made a couple of fun treats for two little Pirates that I just happen to know, my grandsons, Blake and Brayden....

I had so much fun making these!

Here's a list of products I used:
* Door knob boxes - Silhouette Online Store
* Printed paper - "Nautical" by Craft Smith
*Pirates & sentiments - Pirate Booty Stamp set by Jaded Blossom
*Mini Tag Dies 2 - Jaded Blossom
*Candy labels - Pirate Candies stamp set by Jaded Blossom
* Anchors - Anchors & Heart Die Set by My Creative Time
*Copic Markers
*Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush Markers

Some fun twine around the bottom of each box really adds to the nautical look I was going for.

I found these fun little compasses in the birthday section at Hobby Lobby - too cute!

Okay, I'm off to link up my project over at Die Cuttin Divas.  Have a great day and I'll be seeing you soon with another Christmas project.....

Christmas Wishes

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380.
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.  Hubby and I have been pretty busy today giving the garage a much needed clean up...ugh.  Not fun, but so overdue!

So, no time for me to play in my Studio today, but I thought I would take a few minutes to share a Christmas card I made recently (yep, I'm back in Christmas mode).....

The ornaments on this card are created with the new Ornament Dies TWO set from The Stamps of Life.  This set includes 2 ornament shapes and an ornament topper die.

I used a sentiment from the ornaments4Christmas stamp set - I love the font!

A bit of dark brown twine to "hang" the ornaments and wrap around the bottom of my card finished up things nicely. I love the warm, rich colors and vintage feel of this one.

Thanks so much for stopping by today - I hope you enjoyed your visit and will stop by again very soon! Enjoy the rest of your weekend......

happy, thankful & blessed

Hi there and happy Friday to you!
How's your Friday going for you?  Mine is zooming right along, but I am happy to say that I did find a bit of time to create a project for this week's  Friends With Flair going on over at the Unity Stamps Blog.  Nothing like the last minute, huh?  So, here we go.....

I came across this great burlap bag at Michael's a while back and threw it into my shopping cart knowing I would find a good use for it one day!

I created my tag with a file from the Silhouette Online Store.

This beautiful owl and sweet sentiment are both from the Unity September KOTM.  I colored him up with my Copic Markers.  I also used my Copics to color a few strands of seam tape to create the colorful ribbons at the top of my tag.

I filled the bag with some yummy Fall hand soaps and from Bath and Body Works. I was so happy to find a bottle in this pretty shade of blue that matches the blues I used for the owl and ribbons!

Well, I think that about does it for me today.  Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful weekend and I'll be seeing you soon....

Celebrate!

Hello everyone and welcome to Studio 5380.
I'm so glad you stopped by today because I have an extra cute project to share with you! Stephanie from The Stamps of Life just released 4 of the cutest Triplits Die Sets today and I have been looking forward to sharing this one with you.....

These bright, happy little gift tags were made with the new Tags Sizzix Triplits Die Set.  The tag shapes and all these fun little die cut embellishments (along with a few more) are included in the set.

The sentiments on each tag are from the spinner2stamp stamp set.

I created this adorable little box (file from the Silhouette Online Store) to hold all my gift tags.  The flower on my tag is from the crazy4daisies stamp set.

I added a self-adhesive magnet to keep this sweet little gift box closed.

I really love the way this set turned out - the colors and polka dots just make me :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today - I always look forward to your visits and sweet comments! Have a wonderful day and I'll be seeing you soon....

So, it's back to the Christmas cards for me and I've got one more to share with you that I made with the new Christmas Trees Triplets Die Set designed by Stephanie of The Stamps of Life.......

I really love this new die set - makes putting together a sweet Christmas card fast & easy!

A bit of chunky glitter gives this card just the right amount of holiday sparkle.

And, there you go - another Christmas card to add to the stash!

You Deserve A Treat!

Good morning and welcome to Studio 5380!
Okay, I'm going to take a little break from all the fun Christmas projects I've been creating to share a sweet card I made with the new Gift Card Envelope Die just released by The Stamp of Life....

Pretty sweet, huh?
I really love this fun Gift Card Envelope!

I used these tiny little self-adhesive magnets on my envelope.  They make opening and closing the envelope easy-peasy!

The ice cream cone and sentiment are from the Ice Cream Framelits Set also available from The Stamps of Life.

Okay, that's it for me today.  Have a sweet day and I'll be seeing you soon.....

Let's Talk Turkey!

Hi there and thanks for stopping by Studio 5380!
So, how was your weekend? Mine has been pretty busy, but pretty great!  I spent part of yesterday pulling out all my fall decorations - it may still be in the 90's here, but I am sooo ready for fall! At least my house is beginning to look the part!

With fall on my mind, I though I would break up the Christmas projects I've been sharing with a couple of fun Thanksgiving cards.....

This cute little guy was created with the turkey2stamp stamp set and coordinating die set designed by Stephanie of The Stamps of Life.

I stamped the turkey image onto kraft paper and paper pieced his bright, colorful feathers.

Here's another card using this same stamp and die set.....

I paper pieced the body of this cute little turkey and used my Copic Markers to color his feathers.

Okay, that's about all for fall right now!
I'll be back soon with more Christmas goodies to share.  Thanks again for stopping by and I'll be seeing you soon.....
