Hello and welcome to Studio 5380 - happy Friday to you!
Okay, so something new and different for me today. I've recently become a big fan of Unity Stamps (yes, I know...I am very late to the party) and I'm trying to incorporate new techniques and crafting goodies into my Unity Projects. Friday's "Friends with Flair" seems like the perfect opportunity to try out something new (at least new to me) so I decided to try out some of the new products I've been hoarding saving on today's card.....
Products Used:
* Flower stamp from the June, 2014 KOTM (Unity Stamps)
* Sentiment - "A Lovey Butterfly Day" stamp (Unity Stamps)
* Spray Inks by Dylusion in Lemon Zest, Pure Sunshine and Bubblegum Pink
* Tim Holtz stencil - Dot Fade
* Embossing Paste by Wendy Vecchi
* Copic Markers
So, I finally broke out the embossing paste that I have been hoarding saving for the last couple of months. It was super easy to use and I don't know why I have been so afraid to give it a try. I wish I had used a bolder stencil, but as you can see, I was a bit timid with my first try. I love the texture it added to my card and you will definitely be seeing more of this product in future projects.
I've actually used my Dylusion ink sprays a time or two, but not often enough.
I really love the background I was able to create with these fun sprays and will be pulling them out to play more often!
Okay, that's about wraps it up for today. Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit. I'm off to link my card up over at Unity's Friends With Flair. Have a wonderful weekend and I'll be seeing you soon.....
