Make Some Music

Good morning and welcome to Nonna's Craft Corner!
Well...it's Monday...again.  They sure do roll around quickly don't they?  But Monday's aren't all bad, because with Monday comes another Challenge Me Monday over at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog.

This week's challenge is called Make Some Music.  For this challenge, make a project with an instrument or music notes on it.  Don't forget...you will need to use at least one Cricut cut on your project!

Here's my card for this week's challenge...

Recipe:
*  Papers - K&Company's Wild Saffron - I distressed the edges and inked them up using Versafine Ink in Vintage Sepia.
* To create the layer with the musical notes, I began with a scrap of creamy white cardstock and stamped the notes using the Distressed Music background stamp by Pink By Design
* The bird was created using Cricut's Sophie cartridge.  I cut the bird from page 25 at 3.5 inches and inked up the edges.  I added a gem from CTMH for the eye.

* I used my new Nestabilitites set Fancy Tags Three to cut my sentiment mat.  Isn't that a gorgeous tag?  I couldn't wait to use these.  I inked up the edges and stamped my sentiment using Vintage Sepia.   The sentiment is from the stamp set Faith by Pink By Design.  I also added a couple of gems from CTMH on each side of the tag.
* I wanted to add some ribbon, but not a fancy bow.  I'm not sure if I really like what I came up with or not!  The ribbon, however is gorgeous and you can find it at Pink By Design.

Well, that's my project for today!  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have enjoyed your visit!  If you haven't already stopped by Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog, I hope you will pop over and see all the wonderful creations put together by our Fantabulous Design Team!  After you have had a chance to absorb all that fabulousness...go get busy and get creative!  Don't forget to link up your project at FCCB...I can't wait to see what you create!

Until next time,
