You Color My World

Hey there! Welcome to Nonna's Craft Corner, I'm happy that you stopped by for a visit! I have a very simple card to share with you today.  A simple card for a simply wonderful guy!  I created this card with my sweet hubby in mind. I don't get all mushy very often....but...he is the reason that I have the time and resources to do the things that I love.  He is also my biggest fan and I love him even more for that :0)

So...let's get on with this before the violins start tuning up!  I wanted a simple image to show him how much he means to me and how much he adds to my life each and every day.  Because of him, I am able to stay at home, create, be here for grandchildren, work with the kids at church and participate in things that are near and dear to my heart.  So, I came across this fabulous sentiment that just pretty much sums it all up and the rest of the card just came together...

Recipe...
*Card base is made from Core'dinations cardstock, folded to created a 5 X 5 inch card.
* Layers are cut from textured cardstock by The Paper Studio and stitched together by machine.
* World - Circut's Going Places - cut at 4 inches. The bottom layer is cut out twice and adhered with pop dots for dimension.  I used Versamark's watermark stamp pad on the top layer of the world and heat embossed it with Ranger's clear embossing powder to give it a glossy appearance.
 * Before embossing my cut of the world, I stamped my sentiment using the Simply Everything stamp set from Pink By Design.

I think you can see the glossy finish a little better in this photo...

And there you...a simple card for my guy!
Thanks for stopping by and as always, I appreciate your kind comments!
I hope you have a wonderful day and I'll see you soon.
Until next time,

  6. This is awesome. I love it when I hear about a man who is supportive of his wife. That is the way it should be. Tonight, I put my hubby to work making paper gingerbread houses for my daughter's kindergarten class. We are making the houses and I am going in one day to help them decorate them. (Will post pics soon.)

Love your card, love the sentiment...great idea and great hubby!
