CardMaker & The Stamps of Life Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the CardMaker and The Stamps of Life Blog Hop!
The Designers from CardMaker and The Stamps of Life are teaming up to showcase some wonderful products from The Stamps of Life.

Be sure to comment on each Blog along the Hop - one lucky commenter will be randomly chosen to receive 3 stamp sets of their choice ($12.95 value or less)!  The winner will be chosen on July 31 and announced on the The Stamps of Life Blog on August 1st.

Okay, so let's get started!
For today's Hop, I made this fun little summertime gift set....

I used these great stamp sets from The Stamps of Life to create my project:

summer4fun  (sandcastle and fish)
island2visit  (sentiments)
* flipflops2stamp and patterns4sandals (flip flops)

I also used several die sets:

* Big Borders (scalloped edge on card and gift bag header)
* Sandal Dies (flip flops and waves)
* Hot Air Balloon Club Die Set (sunshine)

I added a bit of clear glitter to the sandcastle using a Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

The flowers on my flip flops were made with the Triplets Flower Dies.

I also put together a fun Shaker Card for the Hop....

I used the following TSOL products for this fun card:
Big Border Dies (zig-zag edge)
tv2stamp stamp set and dies
Sizzix Framelits Balloons & Cupcakes (stars)

(inside of shaker card)

And, there you go!
I hope you enjoyed my fun, projects for today's hop.  Now it's time for you to hop along to my friend Anna's Blog I am also including the Blog Hop Line up in case you get lost along the way:

    1. Thank you for your sweet comments Judy! The insert goes inside the bag - I cut my insert the same width as my gift bag (in this case 3 inches) and about 3-4 inches taller than the bag. Next, I score the insert at 1 inch and fold it up (this is the part that I glued the waves to) and again at 3 inches. The section between the 1 inch and 3 inch score fits into the bottom of my gift bag which is 2 inches wide. After filling the bag with my goodies, I cut the insert even with the top of my bag. I fold over the header and staple it to the top of my bag, then add a decorative mat to hide the staples. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions!
