The Circut Circle Blog challenge for this week is called Autumn Splendor. The challenge was to use the colors gray, orange, tan and burgundy. We were also to use lots of texture. I decided to make a fall wreath to go on my pantry door.
MY RECIPE:
FALL - Mickey Font
Scarecrow - I used the farmer from EDPD and improvised a bit! I also used Peachy Keen Stamps
Leaves - Give a Hoot and EDPD
Pumpkin and Witch - Celebrate With Flourish
Tree - Mini Monsters (Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes)
Wheelbarrow - Walk in My Garden
Turkey and pumpkin - CAC
I inked all the edges and ALL of those tiny, tiny leaves using Tim Holtz Distressed Inks.
For the texture part of the challenge, I think the wreath itself adds a lot of texture. I also have ribbon, embossing, and the cute little sunflower button on the scarecrow's hat! Also used some Stickles here and there. I really enjoyed this challenge and spent alot of time on it. And now....it's time to go clean up all the mess I left behind...(sigh)....thanks for looking!
Beautiful job. I love it.
