You've got my heart on a string....

Hello everyone and welcome to my little corner of the crafting world!  I hope you are having a fabulous weekend!  I spent most of my Saturday morning crafting in my jammies, so it was an awesome day for me!  Last night we had some major thunderstorms to come though for about an hour.  I spent most of that time holding Lola (my little Yorkie) who was scared to death by all the thunder!  Poor baby, I guess it was her first storm (she's almost 3 months old).

So, today I'm going to share with you another Valentine's Day picture frame.  I am making one for each of my 3 grandchildren for Valentine's Day this year.  You can see the frame I made for Brayden by clicking HERE.  Today's frame is for Brayden's Big Brother, Blake (try saying that one 3 times fast!)...

Cute, huh?  I didn't want it to be too babyish since Blake is almost 3 years old and I think this cute little robot is just perfect for him.  Here's a list of supplies I used for this project:

* Unfinished, wooden frame from Michael's
* red craft paint
* K&Company Ka-Zoo paper stack
* Cricut cartridge Boys Will Be Boys for robot
*Cricut cartridge George for heart
* Cricut cartridge Nate's ABCs for letters in Blake's name
* Spellbinders Grommet Tags die
* Be Mine stamp set from Pink By Design
* Red buttons
* White gel pen
* Glossy Accents
* Red Baker's Twine
* Google eyes

I have listed step by step instructions on my post at the Pink By Design Blog.  I hope you will stop by and check it out!  And while you're there, check out the call for designers.  This is such an awesome team to work with, you can see all the details HERE.

Ok, two frames down and one to go!  I hope to have Emma's frame to share with you in a few days.  Enjoy the rest of the weekend and I'll see you soon.

Until next time,

  10. Morning Tanya,
    Sounds like my kind of morning...crafting in jammies is the best. My poor dog has the same shakes whenever there is a thunderstorm. He'd rip anyone who tried to come in this house apart, but can't take the thunder...turns him into a 40 pound baby. Anyway, these frame projects are adorable. I love that you used these robots...it's great for Valentine's Day, but for year round too. The way you mirrored your background with the robot cut and that heart shaped balloon is adorable. Can't wait to see the last one!
