Hi there and thanks for taking the time to stop by for a visit!
My sweet Emma spent the night with me this week and as always, I asked her what she would like to do. Her answers were: swim, paint nails and do some crafting! That's my girl!
So, we went for a swim then had a session at "Nonna's Nail Salon" (she got orange nails with pink polka dots) then hit the Craft Corner! I wanted to make a quick gift for a friend and put Emma to work picking out some happy vinyl colors for me. We used the Cricut cartridge "Ashlyn's Alphabet" and "George" to put together this cute glass for my friend Karen....
I filled the glass with these great drink mixes from Crystal Light. The flavors are "Mixed Berry", "Lemonade" and "Margarita" (sounds yummy).
Well, Miss Emma was so impressed with our craftiness, guess what she wanted? That's right...her own vinyled glass! So, I put her to work picking out the colors she wanted to use and we got busy. Before I could get a photo of her glass, she was sipping away on a glass full of sweet tea....
I sure do love this beautiful girl with the bright orange fingernails!
Emma's glass....sweet tea and all!
Ok, that's all I have to share today! I hope you have a wonderful, crafty weekend. I plan on staying in my craft corner as much as possible tomorrow and pretend that I don't notice how badly my house needs to be cleaned! See you soon.
Until next time,
You guys did a great job with these. I love all the bright cheery colors! Playing with vinyl is one of my favorite crafts:-) I know she had fun, love those beautiful orange nails. She's a beautiful girl and I bet she is as sweet as you are! Enjoy your time together!

Great project! Would love to try vinyl. Where do you find your great colors? And are the cups hand-washable?
ReplyDeleteHow Fun!!! This is a great idea! I need to make a couple of them up for Jill. She is really addicted to all of the brew over ice teas for the Keurig now and I just got her some plastic style cups the other day. They would be perfect to decorate like this!!! TFS!
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic! It's always so much fun to craft with a young one - my daughter is 5, and has had her own crafting space in my room since she started coloring! Now we are into all kinds of fun stuff together. Where did you get the cool cups?
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
