You're Out Of This World

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380.
Wow... this week is just rolling on by! I can't believe that it's Wednesday already, not to mention, the second day of March.  Time just seems to get away from me faster and faster these days.

Anyway, I've fallen behind on my blog posting and commenting lately and hope to get caught up soon.  Hoping to make some bloggy visits later tonight and see what you ladies have been up to. Today I'm sharing the last card I created for the 30 Day Coloring Challenge. This one was a lot of fun to make...messy...but fun. I really love getting out my Distress Inks and creating a unique background, especially when working with fun images like these from My Favorite Things:

This stamp set is called "Out of This World" and features all sorts of space ships and aliens.

Here's a photo of my background and the inks I used:

I used a circle cut from masking tape to mask off the planet then inked up my sky using Black Soot and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks. The planet is inked up with Twisted Citron and Mermaid Lagoon.  I also spritzed on a bit of White Linen  Ink Spray from Dylusions.

And, here's the inside of my card:

How cute is that little alien?

Okay, that about wraps up today's post.
Thanks so much for dropping by. Have a great day and I'll see you soon...
