He Has Made Everything Beautiful...

Hello and welcome to Studio 5380!

How's your day going? Mine has been full-speed ahead all day and I'm ready for a break!  So, I thought I would take a minute to share a card with you.  The image was colored during the 30 Day Coloring Challenge and I finally got around to adding a few embellishments and putting everything together to create this sweet card:

The stamp is called "Everything Joyful & Beautiful" and is from Unity Stamp.  The flowers and leaves are colored with Copic Markers and I added some gold Stickles to the flower centers.

I used a stencil and embossing paste to add a bit of texture to my background before inking it up with Distress Ink.  For a little more sparkle I splattered on some Heidi Swapp Gold Ink and added a few gold sequins here and there.

And now it's time to get back to work around here!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I always enjoy your visits and sweet comments!

    1. Hi Sherrie - thanks for your sweet words! After reading your comment I realized that I left off a step! I did most of the work on this card a couple of weeks ago and guess I forgot my steps. The lighter parts of the blue background are actually Copic Marker. I didn't like the solid look of it so I went back with Distress Ink and a sponge applicator and inked up the edges and just sort of dabbed it all over the blue Copic background. I cut masks for the flowers so that I could get pretty close with the applicator without getting distress ink on them. Hope I didn't totally confuse you with my post or my explanation! It's so hard for me to explain my steps sometimes. Wouldn't it be great if we could get together and show each other our tips and tricks?!
