Happy Easter

Hi there and welcome to Nonna's Craft Corner!
Can you believe that it's Monday...again...already?  Where did the weekend go? Mine just flew by, but that's ok because I'm anxious to share this week's Challenge Me Monday with you!

We have a fun challenge for you this week at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog...
"Egg-ceptional Easter"
Make a project with an egg on it!  Remember that your project must have at least one Cricut cut!
For my Design Team entry, I decided to turn my entire card into an egg...

Recipe:
* My egg shaped card is from the "Art Philosophy" Cricut cartridge.  I cut the card at 7 inches from white cardstock.
* Next, I cut the card again from the blue printed paper and glued the two cards together to make it a bit more sturdy.
* I used that cute little bunny scene from "Kate's ABCs".  This is cut at 4.5 inches.  I added an additional strip of green paper and trimmed it up to fit the shape of my card.
* Everything got inked up and I added a few stitching lines and doodles with my white gel pen.
* The sentiment mat is from "Art Philosophy".  I used the cut found on page 36 and cut it at 1 inch.  The yellow dots are Liquid Pearls in "Buttercup"
* Sentiment is from the "Hoppy Easter" stamp set by Pink By Design

There are some Egg-ceptional projects waiting for you over at FCCB and I hope you will stop by for a visit.  The Design Team has some wonderful goodies to share with you!  After you take a look around...go....get creative....then link up your work with us at FCCB.  I can't wait to see what you create!

Until next time,

  16. I love that you post such a detailed card recipe. I am too lazy for that. I love reading yours because I always get ideas....now my shopping list includes some perfect pearls. I absolutely love this scene. Kate's ABC's is one of the best carts, and this scene is so sweet. And I love how you framed up your sentiment. Just too cute!

  21. Tanya,
This is so perfect for Spring! I love the colors you used and the beautiful design of this card. I simply MUST have that Art Philosophy cartridge! I saw that egg cut on the Cricut Craft Room program and was so bummed I didn't have that cart. :( I love the Kate's ABC's cart that my hubby bought me recently though, yet I still haven't used it! Really want to do this bunny cut. Thanks for the inspiration! Perhaps my Easter project tomorrow will be my chance to break out Kate's ABCs! :0)
