Simple (but sweet) Halloween Treat

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday!
I hope your week is off to a good start.  Mine is moving right along - a bit too quickly for me as I always seem to have more to accomplish than I have time for!  I have a quick post for you today, then it's off for more of the "dreaded" house cleaning - uuuugghhh!

I wanted to make a few little treats to have on hand for some special little goblins in my life.  I wanted something quick and easy because we all know how quickly little goblins tear into treats without a second thought about the pretty wrappings!  Several months ago I ordered the "Stitched Lollipop Holder" die from Emma at "My Creative Time".  Last night I pulled it out and finally put it to good use. Using scraps of Halloween paper left over from other projects, I put together 14 of these little cuties in no time....

After cutting out the lollipop holders, I inked up all the edges with some black ink.  Next, I added the lollipop and tied a bow using some of the fun "Licorice" colors of twine by "Trendy Twine".

I used a 2 inch punch for my sentiment mats.  After punching out my circles, I went through my stash of Halloween stamps and found all sorts of sentiments and images that would fit inside my circle - then I went a bit stamp happy!  I inked up the edges with black ink and glued them to the center of each lollipop holder.

See....simple...but sweet!

Ok, as much as I hate to do this - it's time to get off this computer and back to the real world of dust bunnies, dirty laundry, floors that must be vacuumed, and toilets that must be scrubbed.  It's just so, so very sad.....

Until next time,
