Brewing Up A Birthday Wish For You!

Hello everyone and welcome to my little corner of the crafting world!
It's Tuesday and time for Card Creating Tuesdays over at My Cricut Craft Room!  Let me show the cute little birthday card I've put together for Erica's blog today...

I love the retro feel of this card!
* This great paper is from the Tiffanys paper stack by We R Memory Keepers. The bottom layer is a great deep, dark brown color and I topped it off with this beautiful aqua print.
* I created the mat for my coffee pot using the pretty pink print from the same paper stack.  I used the Nestabilities die Classic Scalloped Rectangle to cut out my mat and then inked up the edges using Ranger's Vintage Photo ink.

*The old fashioned coffee pot is from the Cricut cartridge From My Kitchen.  I cut this out at 3.25 inches.  When cutting out my image, I cut two bottom layers so that I could used pop dots between the layers and lift the coffee pot up and off the card a bit. I think the image is actually called a teapot in the handbook, but it reminds me of an old coffee pot...so I'm calling it a coffee pot!
*After putting the pot together, I added Diamond Stickles to the white areas of the pot and Glossy Accents to the black pieces.  I also added a few white dots using a white gel pen.

* The sentiment mat was created using Nestabilities die cut Grommet Tags.  I found these aqua brads in my stash of scrapping goodies and they turned out to be the perfect shade!
* I think this sentiment is just perfect for my card!  It's from the Perk Up stamp set available from Pink By Design.

I hope you have enjoyed my retro-style birthday card today and I appreciate you dropping by!  I hope you will stop by Erica's blog at My Cricut Craft Room and see what the other designers have "brewed up" for you today!  I'll be seeing you soon!

Until next time,
