School Days Layout...

Good afternoon to you.  Today is a yucky, rainy, cold day...PERFECT...for staying inside and getting some scrapping done!  I have spent my morning working on this layout. I am really trying to get my scrapbooks up to date and I have a long, long way to go.  This layout is from April of 2009!  These are class pictures of my granddaughter's 3 year old class and my Kindergarten class.

Sorry about the photos...not the best quality shot!  It's really dark and gloomy here today and I just could not seem to get the lighting to work with me!

I used Mini Monograms for the white, scalloped mat cut at 10 inches.
The apple is from Celebrate With Flourish cut at 3 1/2 inches, then covered in Glossy Accents.

Another mat from Mini Monogram.
The graduation cap is from Everyday Paper Dolls.  I used a gold brad and white embroidery thread to create a tassel.
A bit of inking and a bit of bling and it's all done!

Happy to say that this project was also finished using on materials that I had on hand!  Thanks for stopping by, hope to have more projects posted in the next day or so.
