No...I'm not talking about Huey Lewis and the News!
I'm talking about this week's challenge at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog!
This week's challenge is to create a square project using the colors green and gold.
Sound like fun?
I had fun creating my project for this week....
With St. Patrick's Day just around the corner, I decided I couldn't go wrong with a few shamrocks!
This shamrock paper has been in my scrapping stash forever!
Yippee...I finally found a use for it! Here's how I created this card...
*I pulled it out of my stash and layered it on top of some gold cardstock creating a square card.
*The top hat is from Cricut's "A Child's Year" cartridge.
I cut the hat twice using the Icon Feature and pop-dotted the layers together.
*The shamrock is cut at 1 inch, also using the Icon Feature.
*The sentiment is from a stamp set by My Pink Stamper. I stamped this on to a mat I cut with a Nestibilities die cut. I inked up the edges using Ranger Ink (Mustard Seed).
*I added green Stickles to the shamrock, some twine and a button from my button jar.
The colors are not as vivid in this picture, but I thought you could see the layers a bit better.
Ok...it's your turn. Get busy and just remember....It's Hip to be Square....uuughh...I cannot get that song out of my head now! Get your project ready and posted at FCCB...I can't wait to see what you create!
Until next time,
