Preparing for Brayden!

Happy Saturday to you and welcome to Nonna's Craft Corner!
I hope your weekend is off to a great start.  I've been enjoying myself upstairs in my little corner today.  But, I don't have a card or scrapbook layout to share with you today.  Today's post is a little bit different!

As many of you know, I am blessed to be "Nonna" to two wonderful grandchildren. Emma is 6 and Blake turned 2 in March.  My hubby and I are thrilled to know that we have a third grandchild to add to the Adams' clan very soon.  This little bundle is due to arrive in 2 or 3 weeks and we finally have a name!  It's official...grandbaby number 3 is now and forever more to be known as
Brayden Shane Adams!

So...time to get busy getting this little boy a few special things for his arrival...

With this little collection, Brayden can be warm and spit up as much as he want to...lol!
I was able to finish up a couple of cute little receiving blankets, 4 burp cloths and that cute little elephant in just a few hours.  Before paper crafting became my passion, it was fabric and machine embroidery. It's been such a long time since I've done any embroidery I was afraid I had forgotten how! But, it pretty much came back to me once I sat down at my machine.

I love the green and brown combo and I guess I need to explain the orange and blue burp cloth!  Brayden's mommy and daddy (and entire family for that matter) are huge Auburn University football fans.  So, we have to have a bit of orange and blue and a few War Eagles in the mix!

Well, that's it for today.  I'm headed back upstairs to my little corner of the world and get back to work.  Thanks for sharing in my preparation of God's newest blessing in our lives.  I can hardly wait to meet this little guy and hope to have pictures to share with you in the very near future!

Until next time,
Tanya (better known as Nonna around my house!)

You did a great job on everything, they are so sweet. Did you start a scrapbook yet for him? BTW, since I am Italian, Tristan calls my mom and dad Nonna and Nonno.
