Hello and happy Saturday to you!
Today I have a scrapbook layout to share with you. This layout is all about a very special little boy...
my grandson, Blake. I am so far behind on his scrapbook...he's 2 years old and these pictures are from when he was almost 4 months old (it's not my fault...they just grow up too fast)!
Sandee, who writes the "Scappin' Saturday" segment over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog, shared a wonderful source for scrapbook layouts with the DT members a couple of weeks ago. This wonderful blog is called Page Maps and if you have never paid them a visit, you need to stop by! Sandee also challenged the DT members of FCCB to try out one of the fabulous sketches posted at Page Maps. This is the sketch I chose...
Isn't this a gorgeous sketch?
And, here's my take on it....
The patterned paper on my layout is from the "Nantucket Stack" by DCWV.
The navy and white paper is from Bazzill.
On this page, the red and white mats are cut from Elegant Edges at 10 inches and 6 inches.
The name Blake is cut from the font on Nate's ABCs at 1 inch.
I used Life Is A Beach for that cute little anchor. This cut was made at 2.25 inches.
I love this little sailboat! This cut is made at 4.25 inches and I used New Arrival.
Close up of sailboat and Blake's cute little cheeks!
Well, that's my layout! I hope you will check out all wonderful sketches at Page Maps!
Don't forget to stop by FCCB and see the layouts by our fabulous Design Team.
Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time,
Tanya
This is so sweet, Tanya! I mean when you are scrapping pics of this little cutie how can it not be!

Wow, that is a really neat layout!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are right, this did not show up in my dashboard! Glad you noticed and posted a link. Nate's ABC is such a cute cart. I can't help but notice you have all the new carts, are you a cart collector? Do you have them all???? Do tell! ;-)
Hey girl! Just got your message. I took the family with me to HL so I didn't spend much time looking around. My husband took the doors and top off the Jeep so I thought it was a good idea to go for a ride...to HL of course! The weather was awesome, warm enough without humidity, Imagine that!
ReplyDeleteI bought some fabric Yo - Yos. I know you have seen them - people used them to make quilts and pillows (not sure what decade but long ago). I bought some neat ribbon and some rhinestones for the shirt I made my daughter. I lost my paper piercer so I bought a new one - not sure I am going to like it but at least I have one for now. That was it, and it still cost $30.00. :-0
Oh this is just adorable! The photos are wonderful and he is such a doll!! They do grow up way to fast. Our oldest Grand graduated high school Saturday and our youngest is 4. Where does the time go?! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a little CUTIE!!! He is ADORABLE and The LO is wonderful! Nice work lady! :o)
