Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Hi there...it's me again!
2 posts in one day!  It's Monday and I really should be cleaning my house, but I am so enjoying my new E2 and I just want to play all day.  But, somehow I don't think the "cleaning fairy" is going to be popping by any time soon, so I'll post this and then I'm off to find my toilet brush....sigh...........

This month's challenge on the Cricut Circle Blog really looked like fun, so I thought I would play along!
The challenge shows a Tic Tac Toe grid with instructions in each of the 9 sections.  You chose a "winning" line and follow the instructions in those 3 sections.  My "winner" included the following....

1.  A Sun Shape
2.  Ric Rac
3.  A Flower Shape

I decided to work on a scrapbook layout since I am so far behind on my scrapping.
I incorporated the Tic Tac Toe grid into my layout.

Recipe for this page:
* PLAY title is cut from Live Simply at 2.25 inches.  I cut the bottom layer twice and used pop dots between the 2 layers.  I used a white gel pen to add stitching lines around the letters.
*The flower is also from Live Simply and is cut at 3 inches.  I added Stickles to the center for some bling.
*I created the journaling pocket by using a MS punch on one edge of the card stock, then folding and adhering it into a pocket.  Ric Rac and a flower complete the pocket.

Recipe for this page:
*Sun is from Simply Charmed, cut at 3.5 inches.
*Flower is from Live Simply and is cut at 3 inches.
*I used green Ric Rac to create a Tic Tac Toe grid.

Thanks for stopping by, I always enjoy your visits and look forward to your sweet comments.
And, I'm sad to say that I MUST get off this computer and get busy cleaning my house NOW.
....soooo....where did I leave that toilet brush..........

Until next time,
Tanya

  1. Well, aren't you just a busy lady! I love the layout and what precious pictures. I'm with you about housework - laundry is going, but that may be it for today. I think my project list needs more attention than my house!

  4. Fantastic layout!! I spent the day in my craft room, along with visits to the laundry room. Did laundry all day, too. Bed, clothes, towels, does it ever end......?!!! Tomorrow I really need to work on the house, but my craft room is calling me already. :)

  5. Toooooo cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My kids would love this LO! It's one of our fav games to play when we go out to eat and have to wait on our food to get to the table!

How is the E2??? I hope it is working great for you.

While we were without power for a week, my husband and I had a joke going about the dishwashing fairy...every time he would put a dish in the sink, it would amazingly get washed...it was AWESOME...heehee!
